I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant. The foods taste so so good. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The service was very nice, the waitress, Sonia was very nice. She gave excellent service. Come and try, Amaritsari won’t let you down. I would say it’s authentic, most of the customers were Indian.

We went to Amritsar for a off day lunch. It was already past 5 but they served us food — that was really good. Food were cooked right then, it is also admirable. But however, they were not up to the mark. We ordered Basmati Plain Rice — which costed 100B, a bit expensive than the other places. But it was okay. Then we ordered Mutton Rogan Josh — it was around 360B, they told us they would provide 6 pcs of mutton (3 boneless, 3 with bones). But the pieces were merely a pieces. Like combining 3-4 small pcs you will get 1 large pc. So, roughly at 360B you won't get two whole size mutton. Rather they provided a bowl full of gravy, the gravy however tasted nice to me. But in that price, the mutton is not worth it considering the mutton pc size. Then we ordered the Mix Vegetable Karai — it costed nearly 260B. It was a bit overcooked, like they melted all the veggies (sabji), only 5/6 pcs of panner, with no sign of real vegetables. However, there were peas, yardlong bean. The mix veg karai was okay in taste, nothing special. But considering the price, they should have provided some more paneers. Lastly, we had Fish Curry of King Dory. It was the item that was perfect. Loved the taste. Cooked in Indian style, the fish was soft, quantity was good. It costed around 330B. Recommended item. The last disappointment came when they added 7% vat + 10% service charge with the total bill. Vat is okay (though i donno what's the Thai Vat Policy) but 10% service charge? What service they provided? At least, for this 10% was excess. However, the total experience is bitter sweet.

The restaurant serves a wide variety of items including curries, biryani, tandoori dishes, kebabs, rice items, and fresh naan breads. Popular choices often include butter chicken, chicken tikka, paneer dishes, dal, and garlic naan. The food is rich in flavor, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared. We had a wonderful experience at Amritsr Bangkok. As pure vegetarians, we are always careful about food while traveling, and this place truly impressed us. The staff clearly understood our requirement of no egg, no meat, and no fish products, which gave us great peace of mind. The food tasted authentic and very close to Indian flavors. The chaat was fresh and flavorful, and the paneer dishes were perfectly cooked. Service was polite and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Indian vegetarian food in Bangkok.
