4 months agoA warm, unpretentious Italian meal in a space that feels more like someone’s home than a restaurant. I ordered the carbonara, served with rigatoni rather than spaghetti, and it was refreshingly different from the usual creamy versions. The sauce was egg-based, glossy and restrained, with black pepper and cured pork clearly present. The pasta was firmly al dente, closer to how carbonara is prepared in Rome rather than the cream-heavy adaptations often found elsewhere. It may surprise some diners, but it feels honest and confident. My dining companion ordered a tomato-based spaghetti, which was generous and comforting, though more in the classic Italian or Italian-American style than Roman. The chicken pâté was excellent and extremely generous in portion, rich and rustic, and served with very good grilled bread. The quantity was ample enough that we had to take some home. The bread service overall was simple and well done. The atmosphere is one of the restaurant’s strengths. With its painted plates and relaxed setting, it feels more like a dining room than a formal Italian restaurant — comfortable, sincere, and quietly assured. A place that focuses on substance over show, with cooking that respects tradition rather than trying to impress.

3 months agoVisited for Sunday dinner. The meal started strong with their burrata salad featuring exceptionally fresh, sweet tomatoes that elevated the creamy cheese - simple but done right. The porchetta (550 THB) was the evening’s star, arriving with crackling-crisp skin and tender meat, served with an unexpected apple sauce that cut through the richness nicely. The Mazara del Vallo red prawn risotto (1,590 THB) showed proper technique with al dente rice and a balanced, not overly heavy sauce that let the prawn flavor shine through. Paolo’s Mother Tiramisu (350 THB) kept things light rather than heavy - a refreshing take on the classic that won’t leave you overstuffed. Service was attentive for our party of two, and the Sunday dinner atmosphere felt relaxed without being rushed. At around 2,000 baht for two with this quality, it’s fair value for well-executed Italian standards.

6 months agoGreat atmosphere with a mostly international crowd—not many locals here. It’s the perfect spot to sit back, have a meal, and chill with friends. The food was delicious, but the service was the real highlight. We came for a friend’s birthday, and when the staff brought out the cake we prepared, the whole restaurant joined in singing Happy Birthday! It was such a heartwarming moment. We even got a complimentary dessert from the restaurant. Highly recommend!

4 months agoThis is my favorite Italian restaurant so far 🤍🇮🇹 The atmosphere is super cozy and comfortable, yet beautifully decorated. It feels warm and welcoming the moment you walk in. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered the red prawn risotto and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had 🦐✨ The prawns were fresh, sweet, and perfectly cooked. Absolutely unforgettable.

4 months agoThis cozy Italian restaurant has a friendly staff and a pleasant ambiance. I’ve been waiting a bit longer for my pasta, but the salad arrived quickly. The white wine with shrimp was nice, but the other pasta dish was too salty and rich. However, their homemade pasta is cooked perfectly, and I’ll definitely be returning.
