4 months agoSupposed to be the only proper Georgian restaurant in Bangkok. I have never experienced any Georgian food before and this place is great! A bit crowded on Friday night, luckily we booked way in advance so no issue here. The place is a bit hidden from the street, even though it is quite close to main Sukhumvit road. Most of the customers were expats, we were among the few Thais. The food were fresh, finely cooked and tasted great. We ordered quite a variety of them and we enjoyed all plates. Highly recommend the 3-dips set, Eggplant roll, Eggplant salad, Dumpling (we loved the cheese one), the Kebab thing (those tomatoes were so good!) and Acharuli. The amber Georgian wine is good too. The Napolean’s cake is on the sweet side but still good. We were there from 18:00-22:45 and were having such a great time. The only thing that a bit bothering was seems like someone was smoking (our table is inside and smoking should be prohibited). Not sure where that smell came from though but it was hanging there in the air throughout the last hours.

6 months ago**I was confused by Sivan’s review. He expected to be treated like a king even though the Thai staff speak good English and do their best, especially considering he dined so late. And the place only looks small from the ground floor; once you go upstairs, it is actually big. It is only too small if you plan on playing basketball inside the restaurant.🤦🏼♀️ This place is honestly so underrated. If you are a sucker for beef, the soft melt-in-your-mouth kind in rich tomato sauce, their beef called Chanakhi in a pot is a must-try. The flavor even reminds me of my mom’s cooking. Since I am half Spanish, it takes me straight back to her Beef Mechado or Beef Menudo. The taste is very similar, except this one is even better… richer, softer, and beautifully tomatoey. The rich tomato sauce and the soft potatoes are both so good, it feels like they are fighting each other in deliciousness. The staff here are incredibly attentive and fast. They told me the Chanakhi would take 30 minutes, but it arrived in just 10. The ambience is perfect, and it is literally right beside where I live, so it feels like my own neighborhood secret. The place really gets booked up and filled every night, and I always see it whenever I pass by next to my condo. So make sure you book online or reserve in advance. And today I finally had my first ever Horiatiki salad or Greek salad, and it did not disappoint. A big gorgeous block of fresh white feta cheese, everything so crisp and fresh it feels like you are eating in Georgia or in an actual Greek restaurant, minus the Mediterranean views. If you are looking for a Georgian or Greek restaurant, both combined, this is the best place. I ended my meal with a hot Americano, the perfect finish to everything. The place is small, but warm, homely, and welcoming. If you want real flavors, from comforting beef dishes to authentic Greek food, this is the spot. A true hidden gem.

4 months agoFood was great. Everything was fresh and tasty. The waiters were good. Just a bit sad the day we went they’d switch to the new menu because we were looking forward to the mix platter appetizer. Still a great experience overall.
