a month agoThey’ve recently relocated to a new spot, tucked deeper into the alley, which actually makes the place feel even more private and cozy than before. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to enjoy a meal. The food is just as delicious as ever—consistently satisfying and clearly made with care. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They’re just as friendly and attentive as before, making sure everything runs smoothly and that you feel well taken care of throughout your visit. Overall, even with the move, they’ve managed to keep everything that made the place special—if anything, it feels even better now.

5 months agoIn my opinion, the best Swiss restaurant in Bangkok. A very large selection of typical Swiss dishes. A nice selection of Swiss wines, very attentive service. The dishes taste authentic, the two owners are friendly but not intrusive. The journey there might seem a bit difficult, but it's absolutely worth it. We will come again, thank you very much for the wonderful lunch.

10 months agoOur family has been loyal patrons of this Swiss restaurant for years, and we couldn't be happier with their recent move. The new location is a huge upgrade—much more spacious and a lot nicer. It was a lovely touch when the owners greeted us knowingly, a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. As always, the food was excellent. The Swiss steak fondue remains the star of the show and is, without a doubt, the best in town. It comes with a generous array of condiments and sauces, and we especially appreciate the thoughtful addition of local flavors like Jaew sauce, which adds a unique twist. We also ordered the sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. For anyone who hasn't been here before, you're missing out. This restaurant is a must-visit, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

a year agoChesa Swiss Cuisine in Bangkok offers a genuinely memorable dining experience that captures the essence of Swiss hospitality with an impressive blend of authenticity, warmth, and finesse. Tucked away in a cozy spot, this restaurant transports you straight to the Swiss Alps with its traditional yet inviting decor—exposed wood beams, soft lighting, and rustic touches create a charming atmosphere that feels worlds away from the bustling city outside. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with genuine warmth by the attentive staff, who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The service is impeccable, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing you space to savor each course in peace. Their knowledge of the menu is impressive, and they are more than happy to guide you through the selection if you are unfamiliar with Swiss cuisine. The food itself is outstanding, a true celebration of comfort and quality. Every dish we tried was not only delicious but also skillfully prepared, clearly reflecting a respect for Swiss culinary traditions. The fondue is, without a doubt, the highlight—rich, creamy, and indulgent, with high-quality cheese that’s melted to perfection. Pairing it with fresh bread and a selection of vegetables was an absolute delight, making it a perfect sharing dish that embodies the warm and social aspect of Swiss dining. Other menu standouts included the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, a classic Swiss veal dish served with a creamy mushroom sauce that was both hearty and refined. The Rösti, a traditional Swiss potato dish, was crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside, making it the ideal accompaniment. For dessert, the chocolate fondue and apple strudel were the perfect way to end the meal, with just the right level of sweetness to satisfy without overwhelming. Chesa’s well-curated wine list deserves a mention, with a selection of Swiss and European wines that pair excellently with the food, adding another layer to the dining experience. It’s rare to find such a dedicated Swiss restaurant outside of Switzerland, and Chesa has managed to create an authentic slice of Switzerland here in Bangkok. Overall, Chesa Swiss Cuisine excels in offering comfort food with an upscale twist, all within a genuinely welcoming environment. Whether you’re a fan of Swiss food or simply looking for an exceptional meal with a comforting, homely vibe, this restaurant is a must-visit.
