6 months agoAnyone looking for a meal that offers a relaxed, warm feeling and impressive flavors must pin Chez Papa on their map! The restaurant's name, which translates to 'Father's House,' reflects its incredibly Cozy (friendly) atmosphere and welcoming nature from the very first step inside. 🥂 Super Chill Atmosphere, Perfect for the Evening Breeze The heart of Chez Papa is its inviting and restful ambiance. The restaurant is decorated simply but stylishly, with warm tones that make you feel like you're sitting down to eat at a close friend's house. 🍽️ A Perfect Blend of Western and French Cuisine The menu here offers an interesting fusion of Western-style food, which has clear and rich flavors, and a French influence that adds sophistication and meticulous cooking techniques. This results in a taste that is not overly heavy but still maintains a bold deliciousness. Enjoying this with wine would be perfect for socializing.

3 months agoAn excellent dining experience from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was well-executed and full of flavour. The duck, in particular, was outstanding. It was perfectly cooked, tender and easily the highlight of the meal. It is rare to find duck prepared this well. Service was attentive and genuinely warm without being intrusive. The staff created a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a restaurant that delivers on both food quality and hospitality. I would return without hesitation.

8 months agoFrench food doesn’t always have to be fancy. This spot keeps it relaxed and fun, especially with live music after 7pm. The portions are big enough to share and try different dishes. Everyone here, from the staff to the musicians, is super friendly and makes the vibe even better.

3 months agoWe came here for Valentine’s Day and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. It was a set course menu. When we asked at the beginning, we were told there were no oysters available — yet guests who arrived after us were served oysters. That was confusing and frustrating. The service was extremely slow. We waited nearly an hour just for the 4th and 5th courses. Eventually, we decided to have the remaining dishes packed to go and asked for the bill — and still had to wait almost another 30 minutes. We understand that Valentine’s Day is a busy night for restaurants. However, poor time management and inconsistent communication are not acceptable, especially for a special occasion. Overall, the experience was poorly managed and very disappointing.

9 months agoThe wine selection is excellent, and Happy Hour runs from 5–7 PM. The food is decent, though the restaurant can get quite crowded on Sunday evenings. Service, however, could use improvement — we asked for black pepper, and the waitress simply pointed to the small salt-and-pepper set on our table, while the table next to us had an electric pepper grinder. Our bread also didn’t arrive until we were already on our second dish, which was disappointing.
