We were there briefly in the afternoon for a coffee and because we liked it so much (and our waitress Ms FERN was so friendly), we immediately made a booking for the evening! We were then warmly welcomed by her, had a lovely table/excellent food & would like to sincerely thank Ms FERN β˜† ...and... we went again for breakfast πŸ˜‰

Was there for early brekky at 8am. NOTE: as they are part of a mall, the rstn's Aircon don't come on till 10am. Sitting outside was fine but I got lots of mosquito bitesπŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« Food: acai fruit bowl was delicious. Mushroom πŸ„ avocado πŸ₯‘ toast was great. Coffee: great - Aussie style flat white! Only thing was we asked for water and she opened a Aqua panne without informing us first

Coffee ok, nice place to perch. However, 590THB for this Brekky and >1800 total breakfast (2 drinks 2 meals) is extortionate. We had lunch another time and the only good thing was the fish tacos. Nice staff and vibe - I will be back just not for breakfast I think! :)

A Beautiful Setting Let Down by Average Food Overall Rating: 4/10 D'ARK at EmQuartier is a visually stunning place, with an ambiance that promises a high-quality dining experience. Unfortunately, while the decor is impressive, the food and drinks I ordered fell significantly short of expectations, especially for the price. If you prioritize aesthetics over substance, this might be the place for you, but I was looking for both. I started with a Mocha Hot Coffee. It was served in a double-layered plastic glass, which I assume was meant to insulate from the heat. However, this immediately cheapened the experience, and I could taste the plastic while drinking. The coffee itself was underwhelming and generic, similar to a basic Amazon brand coffee. It tasted nothing like a rich mocha, or even a sweet caramel drink from Starbucks. It was closer to a so-so cappuccino and desperately needed a bit of sugar, which wasn't offered. Hoping for something better, I also ordered the Energy Booster Smoothie. I was expecting a vibrant, flavorful drink, but it was extremely disappointing. The smoothie was packed with so much ice that it tasted mostly of water. I had to dig deep with the straw to get even a faint taste of banana. For the price, this was not acceptable. For my main, I chose the Australian Black Angus Pasture-Raised Beef Steak & Fries. The disappointment continued. The steak was served with frozen fries, not homemade ones. Furthermore, the portion of meat was noticeably smaller than what was advertised. The steak itself was average at best. It was difficult to cut in some parts and had little sinewy fibers, making it tough and stringy. This is far from the tender, high-quality experience one expects from Black Angus beef. While it wasn't a "bad" steak, calling it Angus feels misleading, as the quality was simply not there. D'ARK EmQuartier is a classic case of style over substance. It's a beautiful location for taking pictures, but the food and drinks are overpriced and mediocre. At this price point, customers deserve high-quality ingredients and well-executed dishes, and this experience did not deliver.

The outdoor area is pet-friendly, and the staff were lovely. A petite woman with a pixie haircut brought a water bowl for our dog. The food was both varied and delicious. The chimmichurri lacked that oomph factor. It just didn't taste as good as the one in Brazil.
