One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to in all my travels (except maybe Italy!). The food was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful. We sat on the outdoor terrace in a beautiful garden that was all perfectly illuminated at night, the service was impeccable and attentive. We had an eggplant parmesan, a pesto linguine and a caccio pepe and then a wonderful dessert. The pastas were fresh and prepared perfectly al dente. The sauces were delicious. I highly recommend IO.

My parents usually avoid green beans, but the green bean salad here completely won them over. It’s that good. As for me, the umami pasta was the standout. It came with a tomato-based sauce that carried all the depth and richness of tomatoes without the usual bright red color, making it both surprising and delicious. The seafood ciambotta was also great!

Had such a wonderful dining experience at iO Italian Osteria (Sukhumvit 31). The concept of travelling through different regions of Italy through food is really unique and beautifully executed. The restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated with photos of Italy, and has a very warm and authentic atmosphere. Even the lighting and overall vibe make it perfect for a relaxed dining experience. We started with the Burrata from Puglia …fresh, creamy and delicious. Then we tried the Tagliolini with prawns from Liguria, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The IO Special Calzone from Naples was huge and great for sharing. We ended with the tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet finish. The owner is from Naples and her daughter is from Rome, and you can really feel the authenticity in the food and service. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable considering the premium ingredients and quality. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Italian food in Bangkok. Would definitely come back again.

They probably still at soft opening. Some of the fishes still need to be improve especially the seafood dishes. Btw, the pizza is very good. Some of the pasta dishes were decent. I like it when we made the comment the owner cared enough to come a discuss it with us. He even took off sone of the dishes that we had problem with off the bill. Although, we had a few complaints but they were receptive to it. We will definitely go back and believe tgat once they got over the initial period the food there had a lot of potential.

This is one of the most unsatisfying experience we ever had, given the expectations we were given when we were recommended the place for dinner. The good - nice atmosphere, service is great Impressed - their signature chicken BIG No’s - 1.) pork chop is uncooked, overly salted, and not the standard one inch thick. 2.) CARBONARA really went wrong. Overly watery and worse of all. They have used bacon instead of guanciale even though they indicated guanciale in their menu. The fix - they replaced the pork chop with their fish of the day and the redone the carbonara dish. STILL they used bacon. This is very deceiving. Overrated for “authentic italian cooking”
