I recently visited Japanese Kitchen Ant’z in Bangkok, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed, and the interior has just the right balance of casual comfort and Japanese-inspired simplicity. The menu is well-curated, offering a great selection of classic Japanese dishes alongside a few creative touches. What stood out the most was the attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the seasoning was well balanced—rich, but never overwhelming.

🍗Dinner at Ant’z Japanese Kitchen in Thonglor was so satisfying. We started with tuna tartare, then had niratama which is a fluffy Japanese style omelette with garlic chives, and teba gyoza which are chicken wings stuffed like gyoza. The seaweed butter fries were super addictive and the gyutan was tender (though we wished it was served with a thinner cut). But the real winner was the spicy roasted chicken with gravy. Crispy skin, juicy meat, and just the right amount of heat. The place gets busy fast so reservations are recommended🙂‍↕️

Smooth and gentle, with an authentic Japanese taste. Just one small comment regarding the Salmon Rice Pot — the portion of salmon was slightly small compared to the amount of rice, leaving quite a bit of rice unfinished. It would be even better if the salmon portion were more balanced with the rice.

Everything tasted good! Their roasted chicken is a MUST! I would love to come back here again *they have a limited space, so better make a reservation in advance *there is no parking space. You can park at Home Place building which is on the opposite side of the road

Ant’z Japanese Izakaya – Thonglor 14 A cozy hidden gem in Soi Thonglor 14 — perfect for a relaxed evening with great Japanese comfort food. Must-try dishes: • Classic Roasted Chicken with Gravy — crispy skin, tender meat, beautifully done • Salmon Ikura Oyakodon (large size for 3–4 people) — fresh, generous, and perfectly balanced • Egg Roll — soft, layered, and deliciously comforting The staff are friendly and genuinely attentive, which makes the whole experience even warmer. If you’re looking for a charming izakaya with good food and a welcoming vibe, this place is definitely worth a visit. 🤍
