4 months agoThis restaurant is our choice for dinner on our last day vacation to Bangkok. This premise is a high end restaurant which features authentic Thai cuisines. The staffs are very polite and attentive. As it is early dinner, the food arrive in about 20 minutes as promised. The starter consists of 2 kinds of fish cakes, fried spring rolls and 3 dipping sauces. The fish cakes are fresh and have bouncy texture. The dipping sauces are basically sweet and sour. They taste delicious especially the crispy spring rolls with meat, vege and mushroom fillings. The crab omelette is moist and full with chunky fresh crab meat. Paired with the special chilli sauce, it brings out the extra flavour in it. The tom yam goong is rich with fresh herbs and a hint of toasted coconut which makes it delicious and unique. The coconut milk is just the right consistency so that it does not make it too rich. The two huge river king prawns are fresh with firm flesh. We love the broth as it is not too spicy for us (upon request) ππ. Unfortunately we do not have the luck to savour the mango with fried sea bass salad as they ran out of fresh mango. π’π’. The jasmine tea is a perfect compliment to the rich dishes. ππ A perfect ending for our lovely and enjoyable vacation. β€οΈβ€οΈ

8 months agoLove the food here! Didnt even have time to take the pic as we finished it all immediately! Ordered another pork with the bread on the side (behind the pork). The bread is so soft and we lovee it! And for the drink, even the jasmine tea is so goood ππ»π«Άπ»ππ» definitely coming back for this!!

8 months agoPart of the Emquartier mall premises. Very well arranged indoor setting, plenty of gadgets appealing to the venueβs logo (a rooster). Major problem: communication. No one from the service staff speaks English. Fortunately, some manager was available at the time we popped into the restaurant and she helped us to navigate through dishes and sequence of serving those (starters to start from, main dish to follow). Pricey. Apparently this is a chain of restaurants with 6 venues in Bangkok alone. Staff needs to be trained: on the job and in English.

10 months agoFood was quite good. Mango salad with fried pieces of snapper were my favorite, pork (moo hoong) set was closely second, bun was fresh and soft. Wonton was decent too (my wifeβs fav). Thai omelette was very average, taken into account its price even below average. Itβs a shame there is no classic Thai drinks in the menu, only tea with some fruit additions. Menu is also quite overwhelming, itβs too big, items repeat themselves for no logical reason.
