4 weeks agoEnglish menu with pictures are available for easy order. The Tom yum soup is okay. We’ve tried better elsewhere. The clams are very interesting since they all come in half shelled with clam meat. Not sure how they remove the empty half before cooking. The green curry has a very loose texture, not sure if they diluted the sauce since we asked for low sodium. Based on their recommendation we ordered the crab meat stir fry. It’s mostly eggs and veggies as we have difficulty finding the crab.

2 months agoI am so happy to write a review on this restaurant. We stumbled on to this place while heading to different restaurant and noticed how busy Mama’s was and how good the food looked, so he ate at Mama’s This was the best meal we had in 4 days in Bangkok! Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place does not look like much but the food is the star. Excellent Thai food and very good service This is the little out of the way place you always search for. Don’t let the name or appearance fool you , food was better than the 5 star restaurants we ate at Classic street cafe

4 months agoService is top notch, the waiters are attentive and efficient. Food also arrived within a short time. The tom yum soup tastes 5 stars but the pad thai was way below average. They also charged me an extra 6% for paying with a credit card (not 3% as stated on the menu). For both reasons, i'm afraid i can't give it more than 4 stars.

a month agoDelicious food! Everything we ordered was honestly some of the best Thai food I’ve tried so far. The chilli paste seafood was rich and full of flavor, perfectly balanced between spicy and savory. The garlic pepper chicken was incredibly fragrant and cooked just right; crispy on the outside, juicy inside. And the papaya salad was fresh, vibrant, and had that perfect kick that makes you keep going back for another bite. You can tell they really know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Simple dishes, but done exceptionally well. Definitely a place I’d come back to without thinking twice.

5 months agoIt is one of my favorite and only places I really enjoy Thai food. Mama is such a sweetheart, and I love their staff there. Great service, cool vibe and it’s a true authentic Bangkok experience. The only street food I will eat. But be aware that the serving sizes are massive. I would suggest getting a small of each so you can taste everything.
