4 months agoThis was our first time trying pad thai in Thailand (we had already tried it in other countries), and it felt very authentic. The service was clean and well organized, and it was interesting to see that the kitchens are located in a separate place, which adds to the authentic experience. We had to wait a reasonable amount of time, nothing excessive, but worth considering if you’re in a hurry. The portion size is a bit small, though the quality and flavor were good. However, the spice level was extremely strong, even for those used to spicy food. Despite these small points, it’s a very authentic experience and I would definitely come back, just asking for less spice next time.

3 months agoThey are doing a decent job in cooking up fresh Pad Thai and Pad See Ew fried noodles. Having several branches in Bangkok, this one is easily accessible from the Asok station. The Pad Thai are average to good, but what I really like about them is that they have found sustainable packaging options for home delivery.

7 months agoA cozy (three inside tables, outdoor seating as well) spot serving pad see ew and pad thai dishes. Basically, pick your protein and noodle. I stayed in Asok for two months and this was a great go to spot. I grew up eating Thai food in America, so maybe I'm not the best judge, but I'll say it was plenty tasty. The chicken was executed perfectly.

3 months agoI ordered the grilled pork jowl through “Grab”, and received a very fatty and a much smaller portion of pork jowl. It was an extremely underwhelming experience that was not up to standard. They charged me 159 Baht for this? Ridiculous! I could get much better quality pork jowl elsewhere for a much worthy price. I have attached the photo of the actual pork jowl I received compared to the picture used to advertise the pork jowl on “Grab”. It is an utter ripoff. The Shrimp Pad Thai I ordered was however tasty, where the shrimps were big. Though the incident with the pork jowl totally ruined everything for me, especially when “Grab” refuses to resolve the issue in any way.

8 months agoI’m a Pad Thai lover and enjoy exploring different places to try this iconic Thai dish across Thailand. This restaurant was recommended on Google, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I found it overpriced and not worth the value. The location is quite far from the nearest BTS station, which makes it less convenient. As for the Pad Thai itself, the texture was too soft for my taste, losing the original stir-fried style that makes this dish so special. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations, especially considering the price and reputation.
