3 months agoMeatballs are absolutely the best. They’re honestly the best I’ve ever tried in Thailand—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta is also fantastic, cooked just right and paired beautifully with the sauce. Everything here is simply delicious, and you really have to come and try it for yourself to understand how good it is. What makes it even better is the price—it’s very reasonable, especially considering the restaurant is located right in the heart of Bangkok. Totally worth it!

3 months agoThe restaurant does offer a wide Italian menu with good variety, including gluten-free pasta options, which is a nice plus. We ordered the burrata pizza with Parma ham, a five-cheese pizza, a burrata pizza without ham, and a pasta bolognese. The flavors were decent overall, but the food felt fairly average and not particularly memorable. The pasta portion, especially the bolognese, was quite small for the price. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. It felt rushed from the moment we arrived, and the staff came across as somewhat cold and even a bit rude at times. The atmosphere didn’t help much either. The place was extremely crowded and loud, which made the whole experience feel hectic rather than enjoyable. Instead of a relaxed meal, it felt like everyone was being pushed through as quickly as possible. Considering how expensive it was, the overall value simply wasn’t there. While the menu variety and gluten-free options are appreciated, the combination of average food, small portions, rushed service, and a noisy, packed environment didn’t feel worth the price.

8 months agoHail Pala one of the best, and longest opening pizza places in Bangkok. Thanks to an intro from my buddy Jeff, I’ve been a Pala fan for a long time - their Roman style pie, just right crust, and always interesting toppings hits the spot for me. Their pastas are also good, as is the arancini. Given its prime central Sukhumvit location, Pala also attracts a diverse crowd and coming in on my own, ordering a slice or two, and sitting at the counter - taking in the vibe - is one of my fave things to do. A recent return after a long time reminded me of how good it is, and how much I missed it. But now that my daughter is a fan as well, it means more regular visits for me!

7 months agoI tried their Cinque Formaggi Pizza [150 Thai Baht] which is a pizza topped with 5 different varieties of Cheese like mozzarella, brie, gorgonzula, emmental and parmesan. It tasted super nice. This place is located near the entrance of MRT Sukhumvit and has a cozy seating area.

5 months agoI've enjoyed this Italian-style cut pizza (pizza al taglio) for a long time, mostly as take-away. There are plenty of options to choose from, some of which aren't available at other pizza places in Thailand, and the taste is quite similar to those in Italy, where I used to live. I think the owner has made slight adjustments to suit Thai preferences, but it's still authentic Italian pizza. The five-cheese pizza is my favorite, but the Margherita, fungi/truffle, smoked salmon, eggplant, and Italian sausage varieties are also fantastic. Highly recommend this place to pizza lovers looking to enjoy authentic Italian pizza in Thailand.
