It’s my nth visit to this restaurant. The food remains consistently flavourful and offers good value for money. Deep Fried Crab Meat Roll (P1) Mild in flavour, with a bit of minced pork mixed into the filling to enhance the taste and help bind the crab meat together. (+฿250) Braised Fish Maw with Crabmeat in Claypot (P2) A great alternative to shark fin! The broth is rich and tastes very similar. Enjoy it on its own or mix it with rice (P3). (+฿500, Medium) Braised Goose Web & Noodles in Claypot (P4) Unlike many other places, they use flat noodles for this dish. The wider noodles are extra delicious as they soak up the flavours even better, and although the goose feet are a bit thin, they are still full of flavour. (+฿500, Small) Overall, I recommend this place to anyone craving Chinese food near Asok. Some may find the menu a bit limited, as the restaurant specialises in shark fin dishes and traditional Thai-Teochew cuisine.

1st time visiting Ping’s and I’ll say its a life changer. From quality of food, service and tastiness, all of them hits the spot. One of the best shark’s fin I’ve had, never-heard-of fried fish maw, all their dishes are lovely and cooked with high standards. You can tell that each dish is filled with many intricate details. Will highly recommend ANYONE to try the restaurant out. Do go for their shark’s fin if possible, they have a long history of serving really good shark’s fin.

Made a reservation a month in advance (booked on 22/04 for 22/05 at 7pm), but only received confirmation on the actual reservation day — and even worse, it came at 7:30pm, after my reserved timing had already passed. Because of this, I had to change my plans and reschedule my visit to 23/05 instead. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were left standing awkwardly by the entrance while the staff were still preparing our table, which didn’t leave a great first impression. As for the food, it honestly did not live up to the expectations set by the Google reviews. Don’t expect too much. If you’re simply craving a hearty bowl of shark fin soup and don’t mind the subpar quality at a rather expensive price, then you may still enjoy it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are many other spots in Bangkok worth trying, even if it means queuing for better food and service elsewhere.

Got into a nostalgic private room for our group of 12. While walking in we get to see all all the picture with all the asian celebrities that had been at this restaurent on the wall. 😯 The people are nice. The food was pretty good, i discoverted a few dishes i never tried before. Its an experience to try at lease once in a life time. But i would definelly return to get the fried noodle with shredded chicken.

Had morning glory, shark fin soup and heh chor (?). Morning glory is fresh. Heh chor comes with crab meat and is my favourite dish Process was very fast and food was ready in 5-10 minutes. I would rather call them fast food instead of casual dining food. Captain Nana is very friendly. She promoted the complimentary dessert with a review done. To be upfront, im doing this because the food is good!
