a week agoWhen Matty and I first spotted Popcup Ekamai during their grand opening, we were excited to discover that it was less than a five minute walk from our apartment. We are always on the lookout for neighborhood spots that feel good to spend time in, and this one immediately caught my eye. The design is what pulled me in first. The space has a retro, mid century modern vibe that feels thoughtful without trying too hard. As someone who loves well designed spaces, I could tell right away that whoever created this place has a strong sense of style and aesthetic. We’ve stopped in a handful of times for coffee and brunch. The menu is not huge, but we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. The avocado toast is delicious, and it comes with a chili oil that is so good we have bought a few jars to take home with us. Their coffee and matcha drinks are excellent too. The only thing I would change is the music volume. Sometimes it is spot on, creating a great atmosphere while still allowing people to have conversations. Other times it can feel a little loud for a coffee shop. For me, coffee shops are places to connect with friends, read, write, work, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee, and those moments are always better when conversation comes easily. That said, this has become one of our favorite neighborhood finds. Beautiful design, good food, great coffee, and close enough that we can walk there in just a few minutes. We are grateful to have it in Ekamai.

3 months agoSuper pet-friendly place where you can bring your furry friends. The decoration is cute, comfy vibe and great service. But I wouldn’t return there since the drinks and food menu are very limited. I hope they add more selections, I would love to go back.
