3 months agoExcellent Italian Food In A Smart, Relaxed Restaurant We were out for dinner with friends and they recommend this smart but relaxed restaurant, located right on Sathorn Road. The menu was quite extensive, with a really good selection of classic Italian dishes from antipasti, primi and secondi and dolce. After quite some deliberating, I chose: * Paté Di Fegato Di Pollo: Chicken Liver Pâté With Caramelized Onions, Maldon Salt, Pink Peppercorns, Pickled Caperberries, Served With Grilled Sourdough * Bucatini Al Ragù D'agnello: Bucatini Pasta With Lamb Stew * Classic Tirimisu The paté was really rich and tasty - a good size with lots of good sourdough. The lamb pasta was absolutely delicious - a really rich ragu with the tenderest pieces of lamb and a perfectly al dente bucatini. Very impressed. We'll be back. 4 months agoFirst time visiting Sorrento Sathon's new location—it's much more spacious than the old one! I had reserved a table for my birthday celebration this past Saturday. However, upon arrival, the staff informed me that my booking had been cancelled by phone, which was very confusing. They eventually managed to seat us, though it wasn't a preferred spot initially. Fortunately, a sofa table opened up after a no-show, so we were lucky enough to move there. For food, we ordered the Calamari, Lobster Bisque, Seafood Risotto, and Parma Ham Pizza. The Lobster Bisque was absolute perfection—loved it! The Calamari was decent. The Risotto was flavorful and rich without being too wet, exactly the consistency I prefer. The Pizza was a thick, soft crust style with nice dough. To finish, I got a complimentary Tiramisu for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. We also had the Chocolate Lava Cake with ice cream—both desserts were delicious!

6 months agoCame for a celebration dinner. Classy interior. Yet, the price was actually very reasonable considering the quality of food, service, and environment. In the menu they do not have Pepperoni pizza that my son demanded, but agreed to tweak their Diavola (Chorizo and chili) into a Salami and no-chili version. Medium rare steak was precise. The bolognese was chunky. The razor clam was flavorsome and loaded with garlic. Pizza was too notch (Peppina still leads though IMHO). The risotto had the best presentation, red over a sea of orange. The red prawn made me miss Spain. The rice, perhaps a personal preference only, if less creamy and cooked, will improve the texture and mouthfeel. Tiramisu is just the right sweetness and size for two. If the choice is between Sorrento and Zanotti… difficult but I will vote Sorrento.

5 months agoSorrento is one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Krung Thep. The risotto and pasta tasted lovely. Always have lovely meals here. The salad was also very nice, fresh. Wine selections are fine. The price here is reasonable for the quality of food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

5 months agoA well-known Italian restaurant in the Sathorn area, perfect for hosting guests or enjoying a get-together with friends. • The atmosphere is both elegant and warm • Private rooms are available (with a minimum spending requirement) • Every dish we tried was delicious • Excellent service Parking: Free for the first 3 hours, then 20 THB per hour Highly recommended 😊
