  What an experience. A beautiful, spacious spa with super sweet staff. The massage was perfect. Pressure, music, temperature made me fully relax and get out of my mind. There’s ever a whole shower and bathroom in the room. Treat yourself here you deserve it.

  Stayed at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok and one of the best parts of the whole experience was Amaranth Spa, which fits the hotel perfectly. The hotel itself already does a lot right. It feels calm, elegant, and genuinely luxurious without becoming cold or overly formal. The room was very comfortable, service was polished, and the whole property has that smooth five star rhythm where everything seems easy. It is the kind of place that helps your nervous system stop behaving like it has email. Then Amaranth Spa takes that feeling and pushes it even further. The space felt beautiful, quiet, and very well designed, with a relaxing atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Everything felt clean, refined, and thoughtfully done. The treatment was excellent, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the whole experience felt properly restorative rather than rushed or mechanical. What worked especially well is how naturally it connects with the hotel. Kimpton gives you the stylish, peaceful luxury stay, and the spa gives you the full reset button. Together they make the whole visit feel more complete, not just like a hotel stay but like an actual break from normal life. By the end of it, I was so relaxed that I briefly felt qualified to give advice to clouds. Very strong combination if you want a high quality Bangkok stay with excellent service, real comfort, and a spa experience that genuinely adds value to the hotel rather than just filling space on the property.

  I booked the time stop treatment for 12,000 bhat. It was an aromatherapy bath, a massage and a facial. It was supposed to include a vegetarian meal. The spa itself was gorgeous and everyone sweet enough. The massage and facial were good. It was more the rest of the experience that made it not worth the price tag. There was a thoughtlessness about the flow and it took a lot to get through the algorithms when I was having hot flushes and needed some water or a snack. Getting out of the tub was a messy affair without much thought about towels and what I will step on while dripping wet or for rinsing. After the treatment during what is supposed to be quiet time with some tea the woman decided to come and settle the bill instead of either doing it before the treatment or when I am ready and walking out. I thought the meal was going to be served in the spa but it was in the noisy 5th floor restaurant and I had to pay for my water. I’m also not sure why everything had to have eggs in it. I don’t recommend this package but do recommend the massage or the facial on their own. Much better value for money.

  Woke up with my head hurting in the morning… so decided to skip all planned activities instead of staying in the hotel to chill out. Called the SPA, I was lucky that they fitted me in a 60 min head massage treatment immediately. OMG, what a pleasant trip to heaven! Now I can feel my head is back on me happily:))) Thank you OHLA so much for the wonderful experience which also helped me to complete my last day in Thailand unforgettably:) Bravo to team Amaranth Spa🫶👏🌹

  best spa i’ve ever tried! i had Mook as my therapist and she was exceptional. went for the mama bear 90min message which is a medium pressure massage and i felt so relaxed after :) she is so meticulous from start to finish! definitely coming back
