If you’re looking for a more dress-up style restaurant experience in Bangkok, Baan Khanitha Thai Cuisine Sukhumvit 23 is an excellent choice. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a romantic and elegant atmosphere, yet it still feels relaxed and welcoming. Although it’s considered one of the more upscale Thai restaurants in the area, the dress code is very laid-back. We didn’t feel out of place at all and had no issues getting in. We were simply looking for somewhere close to our hotel that served authentic Thai food in a nice setting, and we definitely found it here. We visited around an hour before closing, and despite arriving later in the evening, the staff remained attentive, friendly, and never made us feel rushed. The seating was extremely comfortable, the toilets were spotless, and the presentation of both the restaurant and the food was exceptional. The food itself was outstanding. We ordered a selection of dishes, including seafood fried rice, stir-fried seafood, and a minced meat dish with fresh herbs and chilli. Everything was cooked fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. You could tell a lot of care went into every dish. While the prices are slightly higher than many restaurants in Bangkok, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service make it well worth it. We visited this restaurant towards the beginning of our Thailand trip, and after eating our way through Bangkok and Phuket, I can confidently say this was one of the best meals we had in Thailand. It easily ranks in my top three restaurants from the entire trip. The restaurant closes at 11:00 pm, so I’d recommend arriving with enough time to fully enjoy the experience. If you’re after authentic Thai cuisine in an elegant yet relaxed setting, whether for a date night or simply a memorable meal, Baan Khanitha Thai Cuisine Sukhumvit 23 is absolutely worth a visit.

The menu at Baan Khanitha Thai Cuisine Sukhumvit 23 felt almost overwhelming at first, in a good way, because there were so many Thai dishes to choose from. I ended up really enjoying the meal overall, especially the depth of flavor in what we ordered. It’s the kind of place that makes it easy to want to come back and try more from the menu.

Had a pleasant dining experience there. Most of the dishes we ordered were great, specially the stir fried chicken with cashew nut. However the tom yum with tiger prawn was a big miss. Servers were helpful and friendly

Beautiful restaurant decorated in an old Thailand style, good lighting, and quiet. The food and dessert recipes from the old times. Really good. Comfortable and easy access by GRAB, or plenty of parking for driving in. There is an outside dining area near the restaurant that looks fun, I do not know if that casual dining area is a part of this restaurant or not. We had a small group, ordered a lot of food, very good.

There's a small noodle corner within the restaurant which is named Ministry of Noodles. I ordered the dishes with assorted parts of the cow. It is very tasty and flavourful. The meat portions are generous and fresh and the cost is very affordable. Must come again and try the other dishes.
