2 months agoHad a really great experience at Beans Coffee Roaster. The coffee was excellent — clean, flavorful, and clearly made with high quality beans. You can tell they really care about the brewing process and bean selection. The atmosphere was cozy and minimalist, perfect for a slow coffee break in Thonglor. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to explain the different bean profiles. Definitely a must-visit spot for specialty coffee lovers in Bangkok.

2 months agoAnother Beans branch located in Thonglor. It’s honestly one of those coffee shops whose concept I really love. The cafe is separated right along the roadside and sits directly on the main street, giving it a very cool and relaxed vibe. The coffee is seriously delicious but honestly, that’s already expected from Beans. Every branch somehow keeps the same high quality, and the coffee never disappoints. What impresses me the most every time, though, is the interior concept and the genuinely friendly service. The whole atmosphere feels warm, stylish, and welcoming

4 months agoIf you’ve seen my other reviews, you probably already know that I love coffee shops, and I have to say that we really enjoyed this one. BEANS is a very cool café with aesthetics that are completely on point. The design is a mix of rustic and industrial, and it creates a really beautiful and cozy atmosphere. The place itself is quite small and very intimate. There aren’t many chairs, which actually makes it feel more relaxed and cozy. The chairs are comfortable, although I wish they were just a little more comfortable for longer stays. The café has two floors, and we sat on the second floor. It was really nice up there. You can hear some of the sounds from the coffee machines downstairs, but it wasn’t overwhelming at all. It just felt like soft background noise. The coffee is really good and very strong, which I loved. The only downside is the portion size. We ordered two lattes and asked for the biggest size, but honestly the size felt like the smallest cup you would get in other coffee shops. So if you’re someone who likes a big cup of coffee, this might feel a little disappointing. We also tried a croissant, which was good. Overall, the quality of everything was nice. The café is also great for photos. The aesthetic is beautiful and very well designed. They do have some couches that look perfect for relaxing, but they seem to be very popular and usually taken. If you’re lucky enough to get one, it’s probably the best spot in the café to sit and chill. Overall, the design, vibe, and coffee quality are easily a 10/10. The only thing I would say is that the amount of coffee you get feels a bit small for the price. Still, it’s a very cool coffee shop and definitely worth visiting if you’re in the Thonglor area.

4 months agoAesthetically appealing store with a rustic feel. The design features an industrial-chic aesthetic, blending raw architectural elements with warm lighting and rustic decor. The multi-tiered dark wood shelving with small coffee bottles added a unique, apothecary-style touch. The background music though, was a little questionable. I am not sure if the staff play what they like or across stores they have a curated playlist, the music while not loud was a little too upbeat for a cosy relaxed afternoon. As the name suggested, the place serves coffee. So the food appears to be on the side menu and fell short of expectation. The canalee was overly sweet. The exterior was soft and lumpy, and the distinct aroma of rum was non-existent. Worse still, it sticks to the teeth like gum. As for the sandwich, the cheese was overpowering. The brioche, fortunately, was soft. Now comes the highlight- the coffee. I went for flat white and topped up additional amount to get the B5 beans. While the extraction was good, the milk was not foamed to the ideal temperature, resulting in a scalding hot milk robbed of its sweetness and a thick, impenetrable layer. Training is key to ensure consistent quality.

6 months agoBeans Coffee Roasters is a super calm and cozy place—perfect for getting some work done or just grabbing a great cup of coffee. The smell of coffee inside is absolutely mind-blowing, and the taste is even better. If you live in or are around the area, this is hands down the perfect spot to stop by. I’ve tried many cafés nearby, and this one truly stands out. Amazing coffee and an even better atmosphere.
