2 months agoBella Sera is a beautiful Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Sofitel Hotel. Beautiful, upscale setting with friendly staff. Food was great, 4 cheese risotto with sweet balsamic vinegar was delicious and inventive. Spicy meat, Gorgonzola and pear pizza also a delicious, inventive combination. The potato mushroom ravioli with truffle cream sauce was good, the shaved truffles on top lacked flavor though but the truffle cream sauce was delicious. My only complaint was the music!! It really detracted from the atmosphere. It was loud and totally the wrong vibe for an upscale Italian restaurant. They did turn it down and then change it to something more suitable but it did revert to their other play list later in the evening.

4 months agoThis is the Italian restaurant (2nd floor) for Sofitel Sukhumvit. Hotel breakfast was also served here. Both the buffet breakfast and lunch here were delicious. Many dishes for the hotel breakfast including international ones for Indians & Chinese. There’s even hot soya bean drink and fried dough fritter (sometimes). And roti plus curry/ dhal. On the spot cooking were seafood noodle soup Thai style and different types of egg dishes including favourites like Eggs Benedict, Thai omelette. As for lunch, I loved the tuna salad and bruschetta. Bruschetta was topped with cream cheese which made the dish irresistible! The staff was kind enough to serve us Thai food from the Macaron Cafe downstairs. The pad Thai was also delicious. You can also claim the hotel’s welcome drink here, which I proceed to order a glass of Italian white wine. Indeed, great service by the hotel!

2 months agoWhilst staying at the Sofitel, I had an amazing lunch at Bella Sera. There is a lunch menu but opted for à la carte options. The lasagne was unreal and was a welcome alternative after smashing Thai for the few days prior. Amazingly friendly and attentive service. Thanks so much

4 months agoLocated on Floor 2 of Sofitel Hotel right between Sukhumvit soi 13 and Sukhumvit soi 15. Very attentive and friendly service team! Great value lunch sets! You can choose whether you want a 2-course or 3-course lunch set. Walk-in at lunchtime is ok, but perhaps it's better to make a reservation for dinner. Parking in the hotel parking floors.

6 months agoI celebrated my birthday at Bella Sera, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming, especially Khun Natt and Khun Ae. They kindly recommended dishes and checked with us about the taste of almost every dish we ordered. Thank you for the attentive service and warm hospitality. I will definitely come back again!
