Really creative menu that brings unique twists to classic Thai flavors. The ice cream selection is packed with interesting choices; though the chocolate with kombu texture felt a little too dense and intense for me, everything else hit the mark. The absolute standout was the fried rice with beef fat and grilled beef—pure 5-star perfection!

The food is delicious and the staff are lovely! We had beef fat rice (no photo) and wagyu pesto meatballs, chicken wings stuffed with biryani and to finish coconut babin ice cream, and guacamole ice cream. Highly recommend. We will be back! 😋

BIB Break in Bangkok is an absolute must-visit, offering that sleek, high-energy vibe reminiscent of **Wagamama** but with a soul that is 100% **authentic Thai**. The **Wagyu beef fat fried rice** is every bit as legendary as people say; it’s incredibly fragrant, perfectly seasoned, and easily the standout dish of the night. We also loved the **Khao soi with grilled Thai wagyu**, which featured an exceptionally rich and complex broth that paired beautifully with the tender, premium beef. To top it off, the **Fried Isaan calamari** served as the perfect starter to share, offering a delightful crunch and a unique regional twist. Five stars for the incredible flavors, the high-quality ingredients, and that perfect balance of modern atmosphere and traditional taste!

I found this place when I was browsing through Google Maps. I have to say, it did not disappoint! I love their fresh take on Thai cuisine, and use of local produce. When in doubt, Khao Soi with Thai Wagyu is a good place to start. It’s on the savory side, unlike what a sweet-savory flavor profile I usually get from Khao Soi. I also ordered their Beef Tongue with Salted Egg Yolk, Chiang Mai Pepper and Sea Salt from North Thailand. The tongue was juicy and soft, with grated salted egg yolk lending it more umami and richness. Perfect cocktail accompaniment. I think what sets this place apart is also the front of house staff. Throughout my time there, I was taken care of by Lin/Lin-Lin. He displayed hospitality, and also, an in-depth knowledge of the produce and the food being served. It is so rare to find an establishment that can inspire their staff to do this! Kudos to the Break in Bangkok team! Looking forward to dine with you again in the near future.

Best lunch in Bangkok! You must visit! Place is lowkey but clean and renovated. Good service. Outstanding dishes: the best khai soi with grilled thai wagyu you can ever taste (if you’re not familiar it’s an amazing noodle soup charged with beef and flavor), wagyu fried rice and the fried issan calamari as an appetizer. Don’t hesitate visiting twice, more for lowkey lunch than dinner.
