a month agoGreat place for an easy breakfast. Quick friendly service. Healthy options available. Not just breakfast food - burgers and salads are great too. Worth knowing before you go: this place is genuinely easy to miss. It sits above a nail salon on the corner, and the stairs are set back slightly to the left of the salon entrance. They're steep. If you've got a pushchair, or have any issues with stairs, there's a lift. Once you're up there it's a nice room to sit in. Warm, cosy, and if you time it right you can get a window table looking out over Thonglor Road. Water is free and self-service from a glass dispenser with a tap. I came with my toddler and the staff were brilliant with him. Not just tolerant, actually friendly, which makes more difference than it should. Their English is good too, so ordering was easy. Portions are generous. I have never left still wanting something. They open at 7am, which is handy if you're up early with a small child, or just trying to eat before the heat sets in. The toilets are in the complex rather than the restaurant itself. Nothing fancy about them, but every time we've been they've been clean. Not much to fault here. Just find the stairs first.

4 months agoWe visited Breakfast Story Thonglor in Bangkok and really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for an American/Canadian-style breakfast, this is a great spot. I ordered the breakfast wrap and it was so good — it had bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, and potatoes, all wrapped together and served with a really tasty sauce. My parents got one of the classic breakfast plates with pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes, and everything was cooked well and very satisfying. We also had an Arnold Palmer (half iced tea, half lemonade), and it was perfect — not too sweet and really refreshing. Overall, a great place for a comforting, Western-style breakfast in Bangkok. I’d definitely recommend it.

2 months agoAgain another consistent, delicious, and good experience at another Breakfast Story location. Same menu, same Myanmar staff who can speak English and Thai, same incredible and careful preparation. I was out of the city for a month and this was my first stop for a meal. Was a bit weird seeing an English menu though. 555 Always a pleasure, thanks again! P.S. Note to ownership. I would still suggest some type of loyalty program due to the cost associated with the quality experience and foreign staff. For repeat customers, I just think a good deal would be nice once and a while, and the customer information would be good for research and marketing purposes. Also maybe Thai translations on the menu as well. I had to scan and use the web browser translator to see the Thai descriptions.

a month agoOur experience was so good! We don’t have a lot of third spaces back home so when we saw that we could play games while eating, we loved it. We played UNO while we ate our breakfast. I ordered raspberry pancakes, and scrambled eggs and a chai! I never tried wet eggs before but now I want my eggs a little wet all of the time. I’m going to be sad when I get back home because I know they won’t taste the same. 😭 There’s also free WiFi, bathroom and water access. Thanks for making our first experience in Thailand so special. I want to come back again the next time we visit.

5 months agoAMAZING Breakfast place!! The food is very good and a good bang for your buck. The place is owned by a Canadian and they had real maple syrup (not that cheap corn syrup garbage) for the pancakes. We ordered the Breakfast story (highly recommend), the BELT sandwich and fresh fruit. The honey that comes with the fruit is some of the best honey I have ever tasted. 10/10 DO come here. I would eat here every day if I could 😅
