  I was actually planning to go to Bartels Restaurant, but ended up at Butler because they’re right next to each other and I didn’t realize at first. When I walked in, the place was very busy and mostly full of locals, which honestly gave me good expectations. I was handed the lunch and dinner menu, but there weren’t many options. The staff also didn’t really give me enough time to decide before coming back quickly to take my order, so I just ordered a Caesar salad, matcha latte with almond milk, and mineral water. A few minutes later, another customer came in and was given the breakfast menu. I was surprised because I didn’t even know breakfast was still available. When I asked the staff, he apologized for not giving me the breakfast menu earlier. What disappointed me the most was the food and drinks themselves. The Caesar salad was basically just lettuce, cheese, and a few thin bread slices/croutons. For the price, it honestly felt very underwhelming. The matcha latte was even worse. From the color and texture alone, you could already tell it wasn’t high-quality matcha. The taste was extremely bitter and unpleasant, honestly one of the worst matchas I’ve ever had. I ordered it with almond milk expecting a smoother and creamier taste, but it still tasted almost medicinal, very bitter, and had no creamy texture at all. I was actually planning to order more food, but after trying the salad and matcha, I felt so disappointed that I decided to leave. Honestly, if a restaurant can’t even do simple menu items like Caesar salad and matcha properly, I didn’t feel confident enough to even try their main dishes. What surprised me the most was how expensive everything was for the quality. Paying around $10 just for a very basic lettuce salad felt extremely overpriced. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the price point at all. I honestly don’t understand why the place was so crowded. Maybe it just wasn’t for me, but if you’re a western tourist looking for good food, I personally wouldn’t recommend it. There are plenty of better options around the area, even the restaurant next door was much better.

  This is my second time here, and both times have been great.The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Especially Au, our server that day, who made the experience even better. He was friendly and incredibly easy to talk to. Even his style matched the restaurant's cool, chic vibe. My friends are pretty picky eaters, so we ended up asking way more questions than usual, but he handled everything with patience, confidence, and a genuine service mindset. He knew the menu really well, gave thoughtful recommendations, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. Definitely a place I'd recommend, and I'll certainly be back!

  Aroi mak. The Chicken Tikka Masala dish was very good I will come back again for it. The atmosphere was chill. Service was attentive.

  Butler, a surprisingly lucky dinner spot, caught my eye while I was randomly walking in. Despite the quite high cost, there were plenty of fusion food options to choose from. The medium portion was tasty and clean, and the helpful, friendly, and gentle staff added to the overall positive experience. The lively atmosphere made it a great place to dine. I highly recommend.

  Visited Butler recently and had a pleasant experience overall. The decoration is beautiful and stylish, creating a really nice atmosphere for dining. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The food was just okay—not bad, but not especially memorable. Still, the ambiance and service made the visit enjoyable. Nice place to hang out and relax.
