My wife and I had lunch at Cannubi recently, and we were both very impressed. Firstly, the staff was very friendly and unlike some other high-end fine dining restaurants, were not in the least overbearing. We immediately felt welcomed. The décor is quietly understated and relaxing. The first dish to arrive was the complementary appertizers. These were beautifully presented and delicious. Even the bread served was very good. My next dish was the Gnocchetti with slow-cooked beef ragout. This was delicate and flavorful, though the gnocchetti were a bit too al dente for my taste. We are small eaters and declined the dessert offerings. However, they served a complementary set of dessert bites that were excellent and the perfect end to our lunch. The only real criticism I had was the wine pricing. I feel this was too high, starting at about Baht 600+ to 2,000+ for a glass. Perhaps they can offer some wines at a more reasonable price in the futures. I would not hesitate to recommend Cannubi for that special occasion.

Bottom line: Worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Cannubi. The atmosphere and staff were warm and welcoming—this is the kind of restaurant where you want to linger, with exceptional food as an added bonus. Atmosphere plays a big role in dining for me; I like to visually take in a space before diving into the flavors on the palate. Cannubi delivers on that front beautifully. Its expansive windows overlook lush greenery and a tranquil water feature, creating a calming setting that enhances the presentation of each dish. The food itself did not disappoint at any level. The creativity behind dishes like a soft-boiled crunchy egg with truffles and a risotto with fondue reflects an innovative approach to Italian cuisine. I also appreciated that the chef came out to greet guests and check in—a thoughtful touch that speaks to both pride and hospitality. It’s always meaningful to acknowledge the dedication behind that level of excellence. In terms of value, Cannubi stands out as one of the best I’ve experienced among Michelin-starred restaurants. It’s surprisingly accessible, offering a high-end experience without the usual price barrier. A fantastic experience overall—and one I would absolutely make a point to revisit the next time I’m in Thailand.

My husband and I visited the restaurant 2 days ago to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with an elegant atmosphere that made it feel like the perfect place for a special occasion. Prior to our reservation, I had requested a private corner by the window, hoping for a quieter and more intimate setting. Unfortunately, there was a group of young guests in t-shirts seated right behind us talking quite loudly throughout the meal. As a result, the atmosphere was not as private as we had hoped, which was a little disappointing given the special occasion. The food and wine were absolutely excellent and truly lived up to the standard of a Michelin one-star restaurant. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. I would also like to express my appreciation to Khun Ken, who provided exceptional service. He was attentive, thoughtful, and took great care of us throughout the evening. His professionalism and kindness made my birthday celebration a memorable one.

Reservations: easy booking via the website. The restaurant will contact you via mobile and WhatsApp. They will contact you to get your deposit, confirm your dietary restrictions, and to check your menu option. Restaurant ambiance: very nice sophisticated interior. The table we sat at was in front of the window, facing the fountain. It was lovely to see. Clean and attentive staff. Servers: the Sommelier was very good explaining and recommending drinks. The main server explaining each dish could work on her explanation a bit more. Sadly we are not Thai and her accent was a bit strong while speaking in English. That’s the only reason I did not put 5 stars on the service. It would have been perfect if I had understood everything she said. My comparison for this are other Michelin starred restaurants I’ve tried so far in Bangkok. Food: the food itself was very good! From the amuse-bouche, the mains, down to the petit fours. Our favorite was the Ravioli! It was very good, all the ingredients just worked together to have a very distinct taste. They paired it with very nice focaccia and multigrain. The Iberico Pork and the Beef Tenderloin melts in your mouth. It was a delight to the taste buds. Everything worked together. I would say that the whole flavor of the menu was earthy-woody. Other notable things: it’s our anniversary, and they prepared a nice complimentary tiramisu dessert with a message and a bouquet of roses. Also, the chef came out to greet us and to ask about the food, which I appreciated. The other Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to also do the same. Overall, experience was very good and worth this kind of price point. I’ll definitely recommend!

Had a great anniversary dinner there. The staff was very welcoming. The food in general is great. Some we liked it more than the others.. Some dishes come with a twist that interesting, but difficult to get into. But cannot say because we like traditional food. Some people maybe could enjoy. Staff was a bit stiff when explain about the dish, felt a bit memorized. Regardless, it is a great restaurant and we had an enjoyable experience there.
