Cedar Earth is a Chinese restaurant that focuses on simple, comforting dishes with a home‑style feel, presented in a more modern Chinese setting. It works well for both lunch and dinner, especially on days when you want something light yet still flavorful. Recommended dish : Tom Yum Fish Hotpot Crispy pork stir‑fried with garlic Wok‑fried vegetables with strong wok aroma and crisp texture Fried chicken wings The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of parking, making it convenient for groups and families.

The food was delicious and well prepared. This place is especially suitable for solo diners or those having a simple meal, as the menu isn’t very extensive and may not be ideal for large groups. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I really appreciated the complimentary dessert at the end.

Listen, traveller: the weather is hot and humid, so you might be tempted to find a nicer, air conditioned facility that's a little more upscale than the street stalls you've been frequenting recently. You might be looking for nice photos of food or minimal wait time for a seat. If any of that is your focus, CEDAR makes sense. Plus, the food isn't bad here. In fact, certain dishes (garlic pork belly) are less commonly offered and could be worth trying. However, your more "essential' Thai dishes (Pad Thaï, Pad Krapow, etc) are roughly triple the price of where the locals eat while being similarly delicious. So it ultimately comes down to what you are prioritizing. There IS a service charge of 10% on top of the food (and personally, I think service fees are a terrible trend in the food industry). On the plus side, they also serve a complementary dessert, so I suppose you can kind of look at the 10% service charge as covering the dessert. All in all, the review reflects that I'd recommend the future version of me to try some place else!

Very tasteful Thai food. The fried fish belly dish is amazing and highly recommended. The pan-seared steak was cooked well but a bit too salty for my taste. They serve a ice black jelly after the main course as a complimentary treat 😀.

Thai set meals with a choice of soup or fried sides—really tasty overall. The place is mostly foreigners, and the dishes lean toward bold, spicy flavors that pair well with alcohol. Great vibe for casual dining, good portions, and quick service. A solid spot if you enjoy Thai food with a punch.
