a month agoThe best all day brunch in town. Must try their Velvet egg and bacon open sandwich. Superb combination. The service is professional and fast. Shout out to “ Khun Is “ who is the receptionist for her excellent service. Despite I only visiting Fran’s once in a while, she always remembers me every time I return. It is truly nice courtesy and beyond expectation.

a month agoFran’s Sathorn was one of the highlights of my time in Bangkok! I ordered the Velvet Eggs & Bacon on freshly baked sourdough, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The bacon was incredibly thick—nearly half an inch—and cooked to perfection with amazing flavor. The eggs truly lived up to their name: unbelievably creamy, rich, and velvety. To top it all off, I had the banana and berry smoothie, which was fresh, perfectly balanced, and the ideal complement to the meal. If you’re looking for an exceptional breakfast or brunch in Bangkok, Fran’s Sathorn is absolutely worth the visit. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, and incredible flavors make this a place I’ll definitely return to.

2 months agoWe had a late lunch at Frans. We got a table the moment we arrived. The menu is pretty exhaustive and almost all the food that we saw looked very good. We had Mushroom and Ham pasta and the Sea bream fish in butter and garlic. Both the dishes were outstanding. The service was also top-notch. Will definitely go again to try their other diahes.

a month agoIf you're looking for one of Bangkok's most Instagram-worthy brunch spots, @frans.thailand is worth visiting. Tucked away in Sathorn Soi 1, this immensely popular café is known for its stunning glasshouse architecture, lush garden surroundings, and elegant European-inspired interiors. Blending Australian café culture with modern European comfort food, Fran's offers an extensive menu ranging from hearty breakfasts and sandwiches to fresh pasta, premium steaks, and indulgent desserts, making it a favourite for both locals and visitors. One of the standout dishes is the Salmon Pesto. Silky green fettuccine is coated in a fragrant basil pesto that's rich without being overwhelming, allowing the fresh herbaceous flavours to shine through. Sitting on top is a thick fillet of salmon, beautifully seared until golden on the outside while remaining moist, flaky, and tender within. The richness of the salmon pairs wonderfully with the aromatic pesto, creating a comforting yet refined pasta dish that's satisfying from the first bite to the last.

3 months agoFood 2/10 Expect a lot more from their reputation and price. Can say that this is disappointed - generally bland, their signature bacon taste nothing, overcooked scrambled egg, below average toast in a city of too many good bakeries (and they serve this, seriously?). Service 5/10 Valet staff not so welcoming. Smoking area in the corner of the parking lot made the smoke got in our car. Restaurant service is professional, even though sometimes not coming when pressing the button. Good things The atmosphere, the big tree, and the old house vibe. Overall Failed to meet expectation considering their really high price level. Maybe a yes for tourists who would come once but not twice. Also you have a high chance of sitting outside in Bangkok heat with fans cooling your food at an instant. But if that is your preference then you're welcomed.
