2 months agoFinding truly authentic Thai food and genuinely good German food in the same restaurant is much rarer in Bangkok than people think. This place manages both surprisingly well. The Thai dishes taste authentic, balanced and clearly made with quality ingredients — not watered down for tourists. The German food is also very solid, and honestly impressive considering how difficult it is to find proper German cuisine in Thailand. The service is consistently friendly and professional, and the fact that staff can assist in Thai, English and German makes everything easy and welcoming. The location right in the middle of Bangkok adds a unique atmosphere and a lot of character. It may not be a super modern luxury restaurant, but that is part of its charm. Definitely a place worth visiting if you appreciate authentic food, good quality and an owner who clearly cares about what he serves!

3 weeks agoI am always so nostalgic of German food and G's hits the spot. I come exclusively for 1 dish: jägerschnitzel. During my last visit, we had a bratwurst that was made by the owner the same morning. I love the vibe, the staff and the food, all in the middle of the lively Silom Soi 4

3 months agoExcellent food, very nice owner. Big choice of beer. Inside it is a bit rustic and also a little dark. There is a large German menu and aThai menu and even some crossover dishes.

5 months agoMet a bunch of friends here. Ordered the pork schnitzel with mushroom gravy. It was delicious. Huge portions, friendly service. Good drinks. Right in the gay district, across from the mall.

a year agoThe food deserves 4 stars, but I’m giving it 5 stars because I really liked the atmosphere and the excellent selection of German beers. The restaurant has both an air-conditioned indoor area and an outdoor terrace, both of which were almost full, with a high proportion of Western customers. The staff were very attentive and provided great service. In addition to German dishes like sausages, they also offer Thai cuisine. The variety of German beers is impressive, with some that you don’t usually find at other places, which makes it interesting. I look forward to coming back to try different beers. Update on June 17th, 2025 The Currywurst didn’t taste like curry at all. It was more like ketchup, which was not what I expected.
