Finding truly authentic Thai food and genuinely good German food in the same restaurant is much rarer in Bangkok than people think. This place manages both surprisingly well. The Thai dishes taste authentic, balanced and clearly made with quality ingredients — not watered down for tourists. The German food is also very solid, and honestly impressive considering how difficult it is to find proper German cuisine in Thailand. The service is consistently friendly and professional, and the fact that staff can assist in Thai, English and German makes everything easy and welcoming. The location right in the middle of Bangkok adds a unique atmosphere and a lot of character. It may not be a super modern luxury restaurant, but that is part of its charm. Definitely a place worth visiting if you appreciate authentic food, good quality and an owner who clearly cares about what he serves!

I’ve been a fan of G’s for years and the quality of the food has always consistently excellent— which is honestly quite rare in Bangkok. The food never disappoints. It’s hearty, full of flavour, and exactly what you want, especially if you’re in the mood for something that tastes homemade with a cold beer. The pork knuckle is a must! What really keeps me coming back though is the atmosphere. The owner has a way of making everyone feel welcome and looked after, which makes the whole experience feel a bit special every time. Definitely in my top 3 restaurants in Bangkok!

Excellent food, very nice owner. Big choice of beer. Inside it is a bit rustic and also a little dark. There is a large German menu and aThai menu and even some crossover dishes.

I am always so nostalgic of German food and G's hits the spot. I come exclusively for 1 dish: jägerschnitzel. During my last visit, we had a bratwurst that was made by the owner the same morning. I love the vibe, the staff and the food, all in the middle of the lively Silom Soi 4

Met a bunch of friends here. Ordered the pork schnitzel with mushroom gravy. It was delicious. Huge portions, friendly service. Good drinks. Right in the gay district, across from the mall.
