  While in the area for meetings, we decided to drop by this Italian establishment on a friend's recommendation, as our clients were eager to try some Italian cuisine but preferred a venue that wasn't overly formal. It turned out to be a great choice. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance, offering a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere that is highly suitable for business discussions. Both the service and the food stood out; the staff was attentive and efficient, and the dishes were well-prepared and genuinely satisfying. It is an excellent spot if you are looking for a reliable, hassle-free dining experience to impress clients without the stiffness of fine dining. Ambiance: Professional yet approachable—ideal for business lunches or casual client meetings. Service: Prompt and courteous, ensuring our schedule wasn't disrupted. Cuisine: Quality Italian dishes that hit the mark. Highly recommended for anyone needing a dependable dining spot in the area for work-related gatherings.

  Had such a wonderful dining experience at iO Italian Osteria (Sukhumvit 31). The concept of travelling through different regions of Italy through food is really unique and beautifully executed. The restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated with photos of Italy, and has a very warm and authentic atmosphere. Even the lighting and overall vibe make it perfect for a relaxed dining experience. We started with the Burrata from Puglia …fresh, creamy and delicious. Then we tried the Tagliolini with prawns from Liguria, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The IO Special Calzone from Naples was huge and great for sharing. We ended with the tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet finish. The owner is from Naples and her daughter is from Rome, and you can really feel the authenticity in the food and service. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable considering the premium ingredients and quality. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Italian food in Bangkok. Would definitely come back again.

  My favorite Italian restaurant in Bangkok! The porchetta is sheer perfection, so is the prawn tagliatelle. Even the bread and olive oil is out of this world. And of course you must finish with the cannoli. "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."

  An Italian dinner worth slowing down for 🍷✨ From the perfectly blistered pizza and fresh handmade pasta to the beautifully cooked tuna and comforting tiramisu — every dish at iO Italian Osteria felt warm, thoughtful, and full of flavor. A cozy little spot in Sukhumvit for good food, soft conversations 🥰🫶🏻

  This is one of the most unsatisfying experience we ever had, given the expectations we were given when we were recommended the place for dinner. The good - nice atmosphere, service is great Impressed - their signature chicken BIG No’s - 1.) pork chop is uncooked, overly salted, and not the standard one inch thick. 2.) CARBONARA really went wrong. Overly watery and worse of all. They have used bacon instead of guanciale even though they indicated guanciale in their menu. The fix - they replaced the pork chop with their fish of the day and the redone the carbonara dish. STILL they used bacon. This is very deceiving. Overrated for “authentic italian cooking”
