  This place is so gooood. Really love the Japanese vibe of the drop in drop out izakaya vibe, the bar table setting is gorgeous. Food and service was impeccable. One of my favourite izakaya spots in this area! I wish I’d had more meals here. The standout signature dish is the chicken, don’t leave without trying

  The food itself was actually good and very tasty. The female staff members were friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the overall experience was completely ruined by the service and hygiene. The open kitchen looked messy and unorganized, with things lying around everywhere. What was most concerning was the staff’s behavior: several employees were constantly on their phones and very inattentive. We had to actively try to get their attention, as they were not focused on guests at all. This does not apply for the female waitresses, they were super attentive However more importantly, the hygiene standards were unacceptable. One staff member was eating with his hands while preparing food, using his phone in between, and then continuing to handle the dishes without any visible hygiene measures. Another employee bit off fries and then dipped the bitten pieces back into the sauce before serving. This is extremely unhygienic and not acceptable in any food setting. It’s a shame, because the food has potential — but under these conditions, despite the very good reviews - maybe because of the complementary dessert you get in return - I cannot recommend this place.

  Mixed execution, but one standout dish that saves the night. We went for sushi, and this is where things were uneven. The salmon roe and tobiko were fresh, but the seaweed on some pieces was broken, which affected the texture and presentation. Execution just wasn’t tight. The rice pot with salmon roe was excellent. Easily the best dish of the evening. The contrast between the crunchy rice at the bottom and the richness of the roe worked perfectly. Texture, flavor, balance. That’s the dish I would go back for without hesitation.

  I recently visited Japanese Kitchen Ant’z in Bangkok, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed, and the interior has just the right balance of casual comfort and Japanese-inspired simplicity. The menu is well-curated, offering a great selection of classic Japanese dishes alongside a few creative touches. What stood out the most was the attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the seasoning was well balanced—rich, but never overwhelming.

  The food was very nice! Chicken takes 25 minutes but well worth it! Will definitely come back… Also a great place to grab drinks with friends!
