What an amazing experience this was. Went here on the eve of my birthday. Loved the atmosphere. Food was great. Wish they hire English speaking people too. Or someone who understands english and can help in translation of certain food items. Apart from that. Every bit was amazing. The dessert and the yuzu dip, uffff, melts in the mouth.

An unforgettable omakase experience at Kohaku Omakase in Bangkok. Every course was beautifully presented and crafted with incredible attention to detail. The quality of the fish was outstanding — fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced in flavor. You can really feel the chef’s passion and precision in every bite. The atmosphere is intimate and elegant, making the whole experience feel special from start to finish. Specially chef Wit made our night exceptional, he was so nice, funny and professional. The chefs also take time to explain the ingredients and preparation, which adds another level of appreciation to the meal. Service was warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. It’s clear that the team truly cares about delivering a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for one of the best omakase experiences in Bangkok, Kohaku is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back.

An Intimate Edomae Omakase Moment at Kohaku A special meal at Kohaku Omakase 🍣✨ An authentic, premium Edomae style omakase tucked inside Hotel Nikko Bangkok, right in the heart of Thong Lor. Every course felt thoughtful and refined. From Hon Maguro, with akami dry aged for 7 days to deepen its umami and otoro so beautifully marbled it melts at body temperature, to the ultra creamy Bafun uni imported from Japan. The shirako tempura was a standout too, light and crisp on the outside with a rich, creamy center. A Valentine’s season exclusive made it even sweeter with strawberry daifuku to finish. Sitting at the chef’s table elevated the entire experience, with personal explanations that made each bite feel even more special. 📍 3rd Floor, Hotel Nikko Bangkok near BTS Thong Lor 📲 Reservations via Line @kohaku.th

The sushi was decent, but it didn’t quite live up to the expectation I had for Kohaku Omakase. The portions felt quite small, so I left still wanting more. It was an okay meal overall, just not memorable enough for me to feel it was worth the hype.

A solid omakase overall. The quality of ingredients is good and you can see the technique behind each piece. Some courses stood out more than others, but the progression felt well paced. The experience is enjoyable and comfortable, though not every bite was memorable. Still, a good place if you’re looking for a reliable omakase.
