3 weeks agoThe restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. From my experience, the food here doesn’t have the bold, distinctive Thai flavors I’ve enjoyed elsewhere. Most Thai dishes I’ve tried usually balance spicy, salty, sweet, and sour flavors, while the flavors here seem to be toned down, likely to suit international tourists. Overall, the food was decent and easy to enjoy, but it wasn’t particularly memorable compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve visited.

3 months agoOne of the best spots for high-quality Thai food at an incredibly affordable price point. We were a group of 6 and ordered a massive spread—including Crab Fried Rice, Chicken Wings, Crispy Pork, Som Tam, Thai Omelette, and Shrimp Vermicelli Salad, plus several other dishes—and the total came out to only 1,700 THB including drinks! While the Pad Thai wasn't my personal favorite, every other dish was a hit. The Mango Sticky Rice is the perfect way to cap off the meal—definitely don't skip it. Even though we are staying over in the Pratunam area, it was well worth the visit. I would honestly eat here every day if I lived closer. Great value for a group!

a month agoAmbiance: This place was on the saved list near my hotel. It was packed when we arrived, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. A gentleman ahead of us in line actually reminded us to ask the staff for a queue number. The turnover was pretty quick though – we waited about half an hour, which wasn't too bad. Service: The menu had Chinese translations and accepted Alipay. The staff were fairly friendly. The only downside was that we were seated outside with terrible lighting – the food photos looked totally unappetizing. Food: The pineapple fried rice had more ingredients than other places I've tried – it looked great, leaned toward the sweeter side, and the side veggies were fresh. The beef noodle soup (rice noodles) reminded me of the Teochew style – dark in color but actually quite light in flavor, with fish balls and pork liver in it – worth a try. The green papaya salad was just okay – a bit bland, but at least they were generous with the toppings. I also ordered their signature coconut shake – personally, I found it pretty average. And I got some Thai milk tea – it was overly sweet and cloying, just so-so.

3 weeks agoFantastic food and a wonderful local atmosphere. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. Friendly service and great value for money. We would happily come back and highly recommend this restaurant! A bit noisy from the street.

4 months agoHonestly, just by looking at the photos, you can already guess how good the food is, right? The prices are very reasonable and the place is always busy. We had to wait about 10–15 minutes to get a table, and that was already around 9 PM, so I think if you come during peak hours you might have to wait even longer because it’s really crowded. As for the food, the seafood here is very fresh, especially the shrimp. You can really taste the freshness and quality. One thing I noticed is that some dishes here taste a bit different from what I expected. For example, the Pad Thai and Som Tam seemed to have more peanuts than usual, which gives a richer, nuttier flavor. But it’s still very well balanced with sour, spicy, salty, and sweet flavors, and it suits my taste very well. I ordered less spicy, but it was still quite spicy, so if you can’t handle spicy food, you might want to consider that when ordering. About the service, even though the restaurant was very busy, we didn’t have to wait too long. Our food arrived after about 5–10 minutes, which I think is already the best they could do with so many customers. It’s not surprising that this will be a place I recommend to my friends when they visit Bangkok.
