Kub Kao Ka’ Pla is my go-to spot when I’m craving Thai food that actually tastes like someone in the kitchen cares. For a national chain, the menu is surprisingly sharp—every dish feels like it’s been chosen by someone who actually eats here. But here’s the catch: the portions are massive. I’m talking “you-thought-you-were-hungry-until-this-showed-up” massive. Even if you walk in starving and full of ambition, finishing more than two dishes is basically a competitive sport. The food itself is clean, fresh, and genuinely delicious, so at least you’ll enjoy losing that battle. Prices lean toward the “I hope you like your paycheck” range, but you’re paying for quality and quantity—emphasis on quantity. The staff are all smiles, like they’ve been personally trained to beam sunshine at you while you question your life choices over a third untouched plate. By the time you waddle out, you’ll feel full, happy, and slightly defeated—like the restaurant just won.

Still one of the most que in town. This place not only sell Thai food but as well the fusion of modern variations. Love the Basil minced wagyu with rice and egg, as well as fried chicken in pandan leaves, not so much on Pad Thai surprisingly and the fresh coconut is so fragrance!

A consistently solid Thai dining spot at Park Silom, Kub Kao’ Kub Pla delivers elevated home-style Thai cuisine with polished execution while staying true to classic flavors. The menu is well-balanced between comforting staples and slightly refined dishes. Flavors are clean, well-seasoned, and not overly sweet, making them easy to enjoy yet deeply satisfying. Standout dishes include the crispy Thai omelette, fragrant stir-fried vegetables, bold Thai salads, and the crab fried rice, which is a highlight-generous chunks of crab, fluffy grains, lightly seasoned, and fragrant without being greasy, letting the natural sweetness of the crab shine. Service is efficient and attentive, with dishes arriving promptly even during peak hours. Overall; reliable flavors, well-executed Thai classics, and a convenient location. Consistently delicious across all branches.

Quality Thai food in Bangkok. Really enjoyed all the dishes here, full of flavour and well prepared. Special shoutout to the eggs — those were my favourite 😄 Would definitely come back again.

a good place for tourists who want to try the whole gamut of thai food as the menu is extensive and the general quality is very high (although nothing is mindblowingly good) skip the shrimp cakes tho they were really unpalatable. couldn't taste the shrimp and the addition of almonds ruined the texture the other 2 appetisers - deep fried small shrimps and gourami were yummy though
