  Went to La Bottega near Samitivej on Soi 49 with a group and every single person left impressed. Northern Italian cuisine done right. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table and honestly all of them were excellent. One of my friends said it was the best bread basket he’s ever had, which sounds ridiculous until you try it. The risotto was outstanding, and the pork chops completely stole the show. Easily the biggest hit at the table. Another friend had the steak and wouldn’t stop talking about how good it was either. They also have a new chef who came out to introduce himself and explain the specials, which was a really nice touch and showed they actually care about the experience. We were planning to try dessert because the menu looked great, but everyone was way too full by the end. Always a good sign.

  We live in Bangkok, but this was our first time dining here. It was excellent, and that is said as someone who has spent months in Italy. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious - highlight was the octopus antipasto from the special menu. We also had the carbonara, which was rich and satisfying. The tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had anywhere, and a generous portion too! We had an excellent Sicilian wine too. We purposefully did not order from the Secondi menu as the prices are quite high and we knew there was a chance we might be disappointed. Overall, I would strongly recommend and we will certainly return.

  La Bottega delivers a truly refined Italian dining experience, combining classic flavors with elegant execution. Every dish we tried was outstanding — from the delicate appetizers to the rich truffle risotto, perfectly cooked pasta, and beautifully grilled steak. Ingredients are clearly high quality, and the balance of flavors is spot on without being overly heavy. The burrata and seafood dishes were especially memorable, and the truffle aroma was generous and luxurious. The ambiance is warm and sophisticated, with tasteful artwork that adds character without overpowering the space. It’s ideal for a special dinner, business meeting, or a relaxed fine-dining evening. Service was attentive, professional, and well-paced, making the entire experience feel effortless. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine done with consistency and class. Highly recommended.

  Absolutely loved this place! 🥰 The service was top-notch—the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Every single dish we ordered was delicious, but the pasta was definitely the highlight! Also, a big plus for parents: they have baby chairs for little ones. Will definitely come back!

  Bottega is by far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Bangkok. As an Italian living very far from home, this is where I go every time that I feel homesick or I’m craving the tastes of my homeland. The quality of the ingredients is subpar, and I particularly enjoy the athmosphere and their covered outdoor area that really makes you feel like having dinner in a Milanese “terrazza”. Do not miss this place if you are in the area. I reccomend trying their burrata (impossible to find a better quality in town), their carbonara, and ther unbeatable vongole spaghetti (pasta with clams). Ah, and don’t forget to try their home made ice cream: to die for. You won’t regret it. Word of a true Italian 😊 🇮🇹
