  We had a lovely birthday dinner with our family here. The food was excellent, the ingredients were of high quality, and every dish was beautifully prepared. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. The only disappointment was regarding the birthday complimentary cake. We informed the restaurant in advance that we were celebrating a birthday, and before visiting I had seen a recent review (about two weeks ago) where another guest received a complimentary birthday cake. Naturally, I assumed this was something the restaurant occasionally offered. When I asked the staff, I was simply told that there was no complimentary cake. Later, the restaurant explained that it is entirely at the discretion of the Chef and Manager. I completely respect that a complimentary dessert is not an entitlement. However, I believe experiences like this should be communicated more consistently, as it can create different expectations among guests celebrating special occasions. This review is not about receiving something for free—the food and service were genuinely very good. It is simply feedback that clearer and more consistent communication would make the overall experience even better.

  Absolutely sensational dinner at La Dotta. For mains we shared the four cheese tortellini, saffron gnocchetti and Wagyu flank — every single dish was outstanding. The pasta was exceptional and honestly, having travelled through Italy, I’d say this genuinely competes with some of the great meals we had there. What made it even more impressive was finding out the head chef was away..you genuinely wouldn’t have known. The staff have obviously been trained to an exceptional standard and everything ran seamlessly. To top it off, the team brought out a complimentary slice of tiramisu for my mother-in-law’s birthday which was such a thoughtful touch (and delicious). We also enjoyed a beautiful bottle of red that paired perfectly with dinner. The total bill felt incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the food, service and overall experience. One of those meals where you’re already talking about when you’ll come back before you’ve even left. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  So impressed by this beautiful restaurant. Everything from the moment we walked in to our coffee and all the kindness was considered and sincere. Food was authentic Italian - cooked to perfection and simplicity done brilliantly. Thank you to chef Francesco and your wonderful team. If you haven’t already tried La Dotta, know that this is the restaurant you go to when you’re looking for soul and substance. We will definitely be regulars now we know.

  Great Italian food tucked away in soi Convent. A must try if you are in the area and feel like it. The burrata 🍅was so refreshing and divine, we love the orange bits. The Italian sausage was also a great choice.

  Superb fresh pasta in the heart of Silom. Perfectly al dente, authentic Italian flavours. Really chill vibe and atmosphere. PESTO was amazing!! They have super cute containers of Parmesan as well.
