One of my absolute favourite restaurants whenever I’m staying around the Silom area! 😍🍽️ The food here never disappoints — always so delicious and perfectly suited to my taste buds. Not overly spicy, just the right balance of flavours that makes every dish so enjoyable! 🌶️✨ I keep coming back for my all-time favourites — the pomelo salad 🥗, honey glazed pork belly 🍖, and the spicy tom yum soup 🍲. Each dish is consistently good and hits the spot every single time! Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty Thai food that’s flavourful but not overwhelmingly spicy. Definitely a place I’ll return to again and again! 💯🙌 #BangkokEats #SilomFood #ThaiFoodLover #FoodieFinds #MustEat #TomYumLove #PorkBellyHeaven #PomeloSalad #FoodReview #WorthIt

Walked past it and realized it was the branch of a Michelin. And tried. Pretty good overal. Padthai is really good. Very balanced and the rice noodles still stretchy. Flavor was not too sweet. Grilled pork neck was really tender and not fatty! Squid with roe is very nice, juicy and chewy.

Lay Lao in Silom is honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve tried so far in Bangkok. Everything about this place was amazing, and we enjoyed it so much that we ended up ordering a lot of food. We had papaya salad, massaman curry, Pad Thai, and mango sticky rice, and every single dish was a 10/10. Everything was incredibly delicious. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. The restaurant has two floors. We sat on the first floor, but the second floor looked really nice as well. I’m hoping to go back and sit upstairs next time just to see what it’s like. I’m pretty sure the experience will be just as good. The vibe of the place is very chill, and the ambiance is really cool. The location is also great. After eating, you can simply cross the street and walk to the mall, which is actually perfect because you’ll probably want to walk a little after eating there… since everything is so good and you’ll likely order a lot. Overall, I highly, highly recommend this spot if you’re in Bangkok, especially around the Silom area.

~600THB/ person for 5 dishes excluded drinks We did have a very good time spending in such nice and cozy atmosphere and enjoy good Thai food. I recommend Massaman chicken curry and Pomelo salad 🥗🥘 Table set up for group either of 3-4 or even 6-8 is make the restarant spacious and bring the feeling of “enjoy meals together” 👍😌

My favorite meal I had in Bangkok, so good I went back and had it again! Busy place but both times I was able to be seated immediately as a party of one. Service is impeccable and food comes out so quick. Had the roast pork neck, the citrus salad and a butterfly pea tea drink—I’ll dream about this meal for a long time. Absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced for being a Michelin star restaurant!
