  The best French restaurant in Bangkok, in my humble but quite biased opinion. Le Cabanon ingredients are always top, always fresh, and consistently prepared so very well. Of all the restaurants that serve fresh oysters in Thailand, Le Cabanon is the best without question. They were the first to bring in the Gillardeau brand into Thailand maybe 10 years ago and still source so many special varietal of oysters. Also, the bulots (whelk/หอยชักตีน) are so fresh, firm and delicious--paired so well with i think the best aioli in thailand. They had special "poulet de Bresse" that evening, which was so delectable, prepared perfectly with simple butter and herbs. We also thoroughly enjoyed the spaghetti with wild mushrooms. My friend ordered the wagyu strip loin medium rare--it was boeuf perfection! Homey atmosphere, deliberately thoughtout decor, and special attention to details from condiments to service make Le Cabanon a rare gem in Thailand, and in fact precious in comparison to many dining venues we have experienced.

  Le Cabanon offers the freshest and finest ingredients I have ever experienced in Thailand. I was genuinely impressed by the way they import, store, and handle fresh seafood with such precision and integrity—it reflects a true dedication to quality. The cuisine embodies the essence of traditional French cooking, allowing the purity of each ingredient to shine without overpowering seasoning or unnecessary complexity. The wine selection is exceptionally well-curated, pairing beautifully with the dishes and of excellent quality. Overall, I find the quality and pricing remarkably reasonable for what is delivered. I will certainly return.

  Le Cabanon offers a truly enjoyable dining experience with both excellent food and attentive service. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The oysters were exceptionally fresh, and the overall menu felt refined without being pretentious. The service really stood out professional, warm, and well-paced. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, making the entire evening feel relaxed and special. A great place for a nice dinner, whether for a special occasion or simply to enjoy quality food in a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit, and I’d be happy to come back again

  An absolute gem in Sathorn! The atmosphere is so cozy and homey. I especially loved the fresh tomato salad—it was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. Everything from the seafood to the service was top-notch. Highly recommended!

  Le Cabanon is a fantastic spot if you’re into high-quality seafood. The seafood is the clear star of the menu. The oysters were incredibly fresh, clean, and briny, making them one of my favourites. The carabinero carpaccio stood out even more as it is delicate, sweet, and perfectly balanced, highlighting the natural flavour of the prawn without overpowering it. Overall, Le Cabanon delivers a satisfying seafood-focused experience with strong attention to quality and execution. It’s a great choice for anyone who appreciates fresh ingredients, simple preparations, and dishes that speak for themselves. I have been here twice and each visit did not disapoint.
