7 months agoPopular restaurant though we’ve booked, still wait 30mins to be seated, with a little souvenir as compensation, so sweet. Great to bring Thai street/local dishes into this restaurant. With not big portion and reasonable pricing, we could try more different dishes and drink. Recommend deep fried crispy pork belly, garlic fried pork with omelette. The coconut chicken soup is also delicious with lots of ingredients and fragrant herbs. Appreciated much with the waiter’s great patience as long queue and super busy to get customers seated. He always carries a good smile and be polite.

3 months agoWe arrived for our 8pm reservation and were surprised to see a number of groups waiting outside. Food was good, and while portions are on the smaller side, it works in their favour as it allows you to try more dishes from their fairly extensive menu. The dishes were interesting and a nice change from your typical Thai restaurant. Despite the crowd, food came out quickly and service remained efficient throughout. Staff also checked in to make sure everything was okay. The space is also very nicely done, with a cute diner-style vibe. Would definitely revisit.

a month agoThis dinner was fabulous! The beer cocktails were surprisingly delicious and great value during happy hour. The food was delicious and great for gluten-free people, the staff were very helpful in catering for a coeliac. Such a great find and wish we had time to come back again!

6 months agoLon Lon is one of those places that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The concept is inspired by Khao Tom Kui, a classic Thai comfort food that everyone grew up with, but here it’s done in a modern, well-thought-out way. The menu blends Thai and Chinese flavors beautifully, from rice porridge with rotating side dishes to freshly cooked made-to-order plates. We tried stewed eggs in tamarind sauce, spicy Chinese sausage salad, fried prawns with tamarind sauce, crab rolls, glass noodles with egg, and holy basil stir-fried with mushroom stems—and honestly, every single dish was a hit. Dessert took things to another level. Mango sticky rice was great, but the thick toast with coconut ice cream and salted egg yolk completely stole the show. Sweet, salty, creamy, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for comfort food with local soul and elevated flavors, Lon Lon is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

5 months agoSuch a cute hidden gem in Silom! The vibe is cozy, stylish, and very Instagram-friendly. Perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The food is classic Thai comfort dishes with great flavors — simple, authentic, and really satisfying. Loved the crispy pork and the rich curry. Everything paired perfectly with a refreshing drink. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and great for photos too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely a lovely local diner worth visiting when you’re in Silom!
