2 weeks agoHere is a short and punchy version, perfect for a quick review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended at Gateway Ekamai! You have to try Maki Maki Sushi Bar & Bistro! The grilled beef is incredibly delicious and pairs perfectly with their amazing, flavorful dipping sauce. Plus, the salmon rolls are super fresh and tasty. Absolutely mouthwatering—highly recommended! 🍣🔥

3 months agoA great Japanese fusion restaurant at Gateway Ekamai with a very appealing menu. We tried the salmon teriyaki, grilled saba with Thai-style jaew sauce, and karaage fried chicken — all were flavorful and well-executed. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth trying if you’re in the area!

5 months agoThe food is so delicious, and the price is also very reasonable for a store that is located smack in the middle of city. Definitely will come back to eat here again. For anyone who’s taking car to the restaurant, there’s a lot of parking since the restaurant locate in Gateway Ekamai.

5 months agoHonestly, Maji Maji is just mediocre. The food is okay, but definitely nothing special or amazing. It really feels like those high ratings are fake or bought because the experience just doesn't live up to the hype. Don't let the stars fool you—it's just an average meal at best.

9 months agoI am a little surprised by the 4.9 ratings of this restaurant which made me choose it in the first place. I just had food here and it was one of the rare experiences of very average/substandard food in Bangkok.The tempura sushi was soggy, the waiters didn’t even give me soy ginger pickle and wasabi until I asked .. My order took a while to arrive and when it did it was disappointing and flavourless.. only the miso soup was nice. I also had to get up and call the staff for the bill as they were not around. The last straw was the bill which after adding a high service charge (when there was hardly any) and taxes came out to be a lot. Sorry to say but it was one precious meal wasted in Bangkok 🥲
