8 months agoThe service and atmosphere was excellent. They offered complimentary appetizer of fancy papadum dips. The food was in larger portions compared to other places so we were full in no time. The tastes of all the dishes were mild compared to all the other Indian restaurant we have tried and it wasn’t the spice level but mild as a whole. For the paneer saag, the scent of coconut in the spices was prominent and the recipe had a mellow savor. As for cleanliness, thumbs up because no one developed any stomach upsets.

8 months agoWow 🤩 I just had the most delicious meal at Masala Art. The servers were polite, helpful, attentive. I like good service :) , They gave me way too much food and it was delicious! I’m so full I can’t eat the other bite. The atmosphere was very pretty and music was indian. Love that! I was just thinking I could make this a regular occurrence and I’m so glad I found it. Thank you Masala Art!

7 months agoI loved this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambience is perfect, and the waiters are very courteous and accomodating. Portion sizes are generous. I could not eat it all in one sitting. This restaurant is a must experience in Bangkok Thongor location. Do not miss out.

7 months agoThe lamb chops were not edible. Zero flavour, mostly fat and chewy. I thought they would do a good job considering I was the only one in the entire restaurant

2 months agoThe restaurant has nice decor and the staff were polite and attentive, but overall the experience was disappointing and did not match the pricing or expectations of a fine dining restaurant. We visited as a group of Indian and European friends, looking forward to a quality dining experience, but unfortunately it turned out to be disappointing for everyone. The seating area is quite small, there was a noticeable food/damp smell throughout the space, and despite dining with a baby, we did not receive a proper baby chair, which made the experience uncomfortable and inconvenient for our family. Parking was another inconvenience. The restaurant only validates parking for 2 hours, and if your meal runs longer, there is no support or extension provided by the restaurant, meaning customers have to pay the additional parking charges themselves. For a place positioned as fine dining, this felt poorly managed. A few items listed on the menu, such as fresh fruit juices, were unavailable. We ordered the mutton raan, which was average, and the baingan bharta, which was good. The chapati was okay, but the seekh kebab was too oily and not particularly enjoyable. The jeera pani tasted more like an instant pani puri premix than something freshly prepared. The biggest disappointment was the mango malai kulfi. It had no real mango flavour, was watery with too many ice crystals, lacked the creamy malai texture expected from a malai kulfi, and at 150 THB felt heavily overpriced for the quality. Another concern was the lack of transparency around beer pricing. Kingfisher beer was advertised on a table flyer without any listed price. When we asked for Asahi, we were told it was out of stock and were encouraged to order Kingfisher instead. Later, we realized it was priced higher than the other options. This felt misleading and should have been communicated clearly. For a restaurant positioned and priced as fine dining, the overall quality, service details, and customer experience did not justify the cost. It felt more focused on charging premium prices than delivering the refined dining experience customers would expect. Based on the feedback from our entire group, it was a bad experience overall. In my opinion, this is not truly a fine dining restaurant, and there is significant room for improvement.
