3 months agoThe place has potential, but I probably won’t return. What was good? The coffee was decent, the pastries were tasty, and the staff was friendly. What wasn’t good? - It feels like customer comfort wasn’t considered at any stage of the experience. The place was uncomfortably hot. - The sourdough bread was served with a spread knife that couldn’t actually cut it, and it came on a curved plate that made it nearly impossible to slice anything properly. - The tables were unstable, so drinks would spill if someone even slightly moved them. - Also, if you leaned back while sitting on the bench, you risked hitting your head on the wooden frame behind you. - Some of the pastries were sold out when we arrived (including the pretzel). Overall, the food is good, but the experience needs improvement. A proper air conditioning would make a big difference

7 months agoThis csfe is terrible. I have many reasons but the main reason is they lie on the menu advertising 'eggs' (as in more than one; plural). When we got our food, we both only received 1 egg. I complained immediately and they didn't argue; they quickly made us another egg. But the fact that they would even try to get away with this is beyond unethical. What else... The cafe americano was the smallest one I've ever had in Bangkok and it cost 110 baht. The bacon was barely cooked. The 'English muffin' was basically the cheapest quality bread but just shaped like an English muffin (and it wasn't even toasted). They also don't even have basic salt & pepper shakers - you have to ask for it and they have to go to the kitchen to and bring it to you in small dishes while your food gets cold. They also demand advanced payment - understandably so, I would have walked out after they insulted me by serving only 1 egg. The business isn't owned by a Thai. The owner seems to be from the region of Turkey or Greece. I would highly avoid this place. Way overpriced for what you get and their business model is unethical. You can blindly choose any other cafe in Bangkok and get a better product for the money. Looking forward to this place closing for good.

3 months agoIt's a cute little cafe. We tried BABEL, croissant, and two coffees. Everything was delicious. Loved their coffees. Would definitely recommend to check out this cafe if you are in the area.

2 months agoOrdered a piccolo and an iced latte and it was really good. It’s a cozy cafe and around 9.30am on a weekday there were customers strolling in for their takeaway coffee, seems like they have regulars. Can’t say anything about the food though!

7 months agoI really like this café. It has a great location and is very quiet. I love the mocha here, and the bread is also extremely delicious.
