2 months agoAmazing, authentic Thai food at a very fair price. Their Tom Yum Goong took me right back to the first time I tried Thai cuisine in Shanghai ten years ago; the flavor profile is spot on. It’s a local-run business that clearly doesn't compromise on taste. Highly recommended for a satisfying and affordable meal!

5 months agoIt was our first meal after arriving in Thailand, and Bangkok’s hyper-vibrant urban atmosphere had us a little mesmerized. We randomly walked into this small diner tucked off the city’s bustling streets. It’s one of those places where home-style cooking hits particularly differently. The Pad See Ew tasted like something parents would make on repeat and never mess up: the right amount of oil, the right seasoning, and ingredients that still felt fresh. The green curry chicken had the same comforting effect. The chicken was tender, and the soup was aromatic, neither too thick nor too watery. The fried rice with beef was a bit on the average side, but the portion of beef was quite generous. And all three dishes came to under seven dollars?! Truly ridiculous great value.

8 months agoI went there because of the 4.9 star reviews. The tom yum with shrimp wasn't available so I ordered one with chicken. The soup broth itself was excellent and the mushroom was very tasty. The chicken however was extremely dry. I also had a Pad Thai noodles with seafood. Luckily the lady asked if I want it spicy or not - I said no, knowing how spicy things can get here 😂 The seafood was nice but I didn't like the peanuts being mixed together with the noodles. This might be the authentic way but I'm used to the 'UK way' where it's not mixed in or put on one side so I can remove it. I'd say the flavour was disappointing - a bit bland to be honest. I much preferred the Pad Thai we have in the UK, sorry!

7 months agoVery good Thai food! I got the pad kra pao kai, and asked if they could make it spicy for me! They didn’t hold back on the chillies even tho I have the typical foreigner-look. The food was so cheap as well, I paid 80 baht for my dish and my drink. The owner was the sweetest guy, who told me about how they dry their own chillies. He also clapped for me because I handled the spice, so sweet! Please support this place!
