New’s Pizzazo is one of those places that never lets you down. It’s been around forever and there’s a reason for that. Every time I go, I’m reminded why it’s a long standing favorite. First off, the staff is incredibly friendly and New himself is an amazing host. You feel taken care of the second you walk in. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and actually enjoy the night. There’s a big outdoor area that’s perfect for pre drinks before dinner, especially if you’re meeting friends and want to ease into the evening. Inside, there’s a large main dining room plus another room off to the side, so even with bigger groups it never feels cramped. The drink selection is great and the prices are very fair. If you like wine, you’re in good hands here. Nobody at the table was disappointed. Now the food. It’s outstanding. My absolute favorite is the risotto beef tenderloin. I order it all the time and it’s still the best thing on the menu for me. Perfectly cooked, rich, and just flat out delicious. On our most recent visit, two people ordered the chicken Parmesan and would not stop talking about how good it was. One friend got the ravioli ricotta spinach with truffle sauce and said he’s ordering it again next time without even looking at the menu. Another friend demolished the large meat lovers pizza. Soups are always solid. For appetizers, I love the crab meat finger rolls. They never miss. And when it comes to dessert, they finish strong. The red velvet cake gets a lot of love, but the triple chocolate cheesecake steals the show. I’ve been to New’s many times and I have never been disappointed. This last visit was a group of 11 people and every single person left happy. That says everything. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

☆☆☆☆ Food ☆☆☆☆ Atmosphere ☆☆☆☆ Service ☆☆☆☆ Value A long standing classic white house converted into an Italian restaurant, the interior is homey and airy. The menu is extensive, good selection of pizza. From start to finish, dishes come in decent portion for the value. Other than the lobster bisque and mushroom soup are watery, rest of dishes are quite delicious. Pizza comes in 8 slices, considered a large size compared to other restaurants. Overall, a no frills, satisfying meal. Limited parking at the restaurant.

After spending more than two weeks diving deep into Thai food in Bangkok, I was seriously craving something different. That’s when we discovered New’s Restaurant on Sukhumvit 16 — and I’m so glad we did! This little Italian spot is such a gem. It serves up classic Italian dishes with just a hint of Thai flair that somehow makes everything even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a nice lunch. We started with fried calamari, Cajun shrimps, and risotto cheese balls. Every single one was bursting with flavor — crispy, well-seasoned, and addictive. For mains, the angel hair crab pasta completely won me over. It had beautiful fresh crab and a clever Thai twist with a gentle spicy kick at the end that made it unforgettable. The carbonara was rich, creamy, and spot-on. And the pizza? It tasted exactly like we were back in Italy — thin crispy crust and fresh toppings. Pure comfort! The prices are super reasonable for the quality, and the service felt genuinely friendly. Plus, it’s only a pleasant 15-minute walk from Asok and Terminal 21 BTS/MRT, which made it really easy to get to. If you’ve been eating Thai food nonstop and need a delicious break, or you just love good Italian, I can’t recommend New’s enough. We left happy and full — definitely coming back when in Bangkok.
