  Update: We came here for the second time and didn’t enjoy our meal at all. So we have to reduce our previous 5 star rating. The most important thing for a restaurant is consistency, and Patara seems to lack this. I received an ice cold Massaman curry, with raw chicken and potatoes inside. When I told the waitress she seemed to challenge me which was really confusing. After this, I was nervous to eat at the restaurant. They remade the curry but it tasted old and as if it had been microwaved. It lacked that fresh flavour from the peanuts and the potatoes were not tasty. They also confused some other items that we ordered, and our papaya salad didn’t taste super fresh as with our first visit. My partner’s pad Thai dish with crab was also not very good I hope the restaurant management can read this and try to bring more consistency We really enjoyed our experience at Patara. The hosts and waitresses were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the food a lot. Yes, it’s not fully Thai style because there is less chilli but it’s still tasty and authentic with good quality ingredients in a comfortable and clean restaurant. Decent drinks menu, too! With great selection of cocktails I recommend this place and will definitely return

  This is a very good Thai restaurant. It’s moderately priced and the quality of the dishes were superb. I ordered two fish dishes and both were prepared very well. Wine selection was fair. The ambience was pleasant - the majority of customers seemed to be couples (both young and older) and the noise level was perfect for socializing. Desserts were nice as well. The only complaint I have is that I wish the restaurant stayed open a bit later. But that’s a minor issue for an otherwise very good restaurant.

  We recently visited Patara Fine Thai Cuisine and had a mixed experience. The food was absolutely excellent: beautifully presented, authentic, and full of flavor. The interior design and the surrounding area are also very nice. However, the service definitely needs improvement. We arrived about 30 minutes later than our reservation due to heavy city traffic. The staff member at the entrance seemed quite angry about our late arrival and expressed his frustration openly. This was surprising, especially since the restaurant was almost completely empty, only two tables were occupied. He continued to complain until I mentioned that the reservation was not that important to us and that we could simply leave and have lunch elsewhere. Only then did he escort us to our table, though he did so while clearly looking offended. Overall, the cuisine and ambiance were wonderful, but the welcoming experience left an unpleasant impression. I hope the restaurant will work on improving their customer service, as the kitchen truly deserves better.

  Amazing experience. The selection of food is vast. We must have had shared a dozen different food choices. From curry , wagyu, calamari etc. Amazing flavours, very satisfying and memorable. The restaurant has a nice tranquil “namaste” vibe. Very well decorated. Ala in all a great place for lunch or dinner

  This place has a dedicated vegetarian menu, and the it’s one of the best Thai food I have had. We ordered the watermelon salad, Thai green curry, jasmine rice, morning glory, mango sticky rice, and a chicken green curry, The ambience , the service , the people were all amazing, and it was a great experience.
