After eating so much Asian food in Bangkok, it was such a relief to finally enjoy amazing Italian roots at Riva del Fiume. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and feel a little closer to home. The setting is absolutely gorgeous — the same beautiful spot where the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River serves breakfast and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. You can really taste the authenticity and care in every dish. Service was generally good, but I did have one disappointing experience. I was told that everything indoors was fully booked, so I was seated outside with quite a few mosquitos. After about an hour, I walked inside and noticed there were still around nine tables available. That wasn’t cool, and I couldn’t help but feel it might have been because I was dining alone. Portions aren’t huge, actually quite small but they are filling and satisfying. I ended up ordering four dishes and felt perfectly content by the end. Overall, a beautiful restaurant with high-quality products and (aside from that hiccup) good service. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine in Bangkok.

Wonderful Italian restaurant in a beautiful environment. Always the best service and genuine hospitality as is the Four Seasons standard. The Italian food here is delicious. The appetizers, tuna tartar, tortellini, tenderloin, duck and desserts were all fantastic. Many thanks to Chef Andrea, Chef Enrico, Restaurant Manager Sofia and the team at Riva for a memorable meal and experience ❤️🙏

Shout out to Pao the service from him was amazing and knowledgeable about foods and details I really enjoyed the duck meat the skin was surprisingly crispy. The lemon sorbet was very nice. The complementary bread also very tasty tho.

Riva Del Fiume: A Perfect Riverside Morning in Bangkok 🚢☕️ A morning at the Four Seasons Bangkok is always a treat, but breakfast at Riva Del Fiume is on another level. The restaurant is beautifully designed with multiple terraced levels that step down toward the water, which is perfect for watching the cruise ships and long-tail boats go by on the Chao Phraya. The vibe is very Lake Como—elegant but relaxed. If you get there early when it’s still cool, definitely grab a table outside. The view is unbeatable, but just a heads-up: the birds there are as hungry as they are musical! They’ll sing for you, but they’ll also try to share your meal if you aren't looking. 🐦 What I loved most was the mix of the high-end buffet and the à la carte menu. They have live cooking stations where you can see the chefs working—watching them pull freshly made pizza straight out of the wood-fired oven for breakfast was a highlight. A few things you shouldn’t miss: • The Bakery: Everything is made in-house. The smell of the oven-fresh bread and mini pizzas is incredible, and the pastries are top-tier. • The Classics: The Brioche French Toast is thick and pillowy, and the Shakshuka comes out hot in a little skillet—perfect for dipping that fresh bread. • The Fruits: I couldn't get enough of the fresh-squeezed juices and the mango. The mango was so sweet and fragrant, exactly what you want in Thailand. 🥭 The service really made it feel special. The staff actually know you by name here. A big shout-out to Juley, Michael, and the rest of the team. One of the staff even went out of her way to make us a special "goodbye" dish because she knew she’d be off duty when we checked out. Reviewer Tip: For the best experience, choose the lower terrace for unobstructed river views, but keep an eye on your plate when the birds are around! Summary: A bit of a splurge (around THB 1,350-2,200++ depending on your selection), but worth every cent for a special morning or a romantic getaway. 10/10 service.
