Great brunch place. There were a lot of options to choose from. We ordered the original roast breakfast and it was really really good. All of it was perfect, eggs are cooked perfectly, mushrooms tastes really good, bacon was perfectly crispy, and the other stuff on it were also great.

Roast Coffee & Eatery, The Commons Thonglor — Grilled Chicken Breast Bowl The Commons has always been a bit pleased with itself, and Roast is its crown jewel — a place that understands the assignment is “feed people who care what goes in their body” and largely delivers. The grilled chicken breast bowl is honest food: clean protein, not drowned in anything it shouldn’t be, the kind of meal that doesn’t require an apology afterward. The service operates on its own timeline. Not bad, exactly — more like staffed by people for whom urgency is a foreign concept. You’ll get there eventually. So will your order. What saves the whole experience, besides the food, is the view over The Commons courtyard — open air, decent light, the Bangkok skyline doing its thing in the background. It’s a room that justifies the markup more than most. Come for the bowl. Budget extra time. Sit near the railing.

One of the best toast I had in my life. The toast had such an amazing crust to it. Amazing service too. Staff very attentive and response is fast The interior is very cosy, great decors. Good for having a long break It's not the cheapest meal but definitely worth it

Roast Cafe Stopped by Roast near Platinum Mall, super convenient location and just a short walk from the BTS train, which makes it an easy breakfast or brunch option if you’re shopping or staying nearby. The food; no complaints there. I ordered the Turkish Eggs, and they were well prepared, flavorful, and plated nicely. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully put together. I also tried something new for the first time: an orange coffee. Surprisingly good, it reminded me of those chocolate oranges, smooth with a citrus kick. Different, but it was good. Atmosphere wise, the place is chill but busy. It’s popular, so expect a steady flow of people, especially during peak hours. That said, it didn’t feel chaotic, just lively. Service was the weak point for me. The servers were okay but not very engaging not much smiling or warmth, which stands out when you’re paying attention to the overall experience. Not terrible, just not memorable. Price wise, I paid around $15 CAD for my meal, which felt fair considering the quality and portion size. Food came out on time and was clearly made with care. Good food, interesting drink options, and a great location near BTS and Platinum Mall. Service could use some improvement, but if you’re looking for a solid cafe with reliable dishes, Roast Cafes worth a stop.
