I can't believe this hidden gem is tucked away at the end of a small alley. It truly feels like a secret escape in the middle of Bangkok. I never expected to find a café with such beautiful, mature trees and a lush, peaceful atmosphere like this. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, with excellent service from the moment we arrived. The coffee was delicious, the desserts were outstanding, and the overall ambiance was warm, relaxing, and beautifully designed. Everything was thoughtfully done, even the restrooms were spotless. I highly recommend the Lychee Espresso and the Matcha Clear—both were excellent. The desserts were just as impressive. This is definitely a café I'll be coming back to.

Tucked away in a quiet alley near Phrom Phong station,Ryoku Cafe is a beautiful hidden gem that serves up deliciously fluffy soufflé pancakes and other solid brunch options. While the food is great, what truly stands out is the stunning, peaceful ambience of the place, which features a sunlit white glasshouse surrounded by lush greenery. It strikes the perfect balance of being incredibly easy to access while offering a quiet, aesthetic escape from the busy Bangkok streets.

We came to Ryoku twice in our 4 day stay in Bangkok because it was so delicious! The pancakes are so fluffy and the sauces and cream complement them perfectly! The carbonara was so delicious as well. If you’re looking for a lunch option, the pumpkin soup and beef parppadelle are excellent as well. For drinks I recommend the hojicha latte, but all drinks are fantastic and not too sweet! The ambiance is so green and inviting, I could stay all day! Staff was very kind and welcoming, best service we had in the city ❤️Thank you so much!

The cafe is situated on a green plot tucked at the end of a dead end street away from the hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit. The pancakes were airy and fluffy without collapsing. The cream, the rose water, decoration and everything was superb. The honeycomb was terribly (but intentionally?) burnt and was the only complaint. The Valrhona hot chocolate was completely sugarless which makes me suspect it was made with cocoa powder rather than chocolate. Service was impeccable. There was so much parking. So so much parking for such a central location.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ryoku Café was an absolute highlight of our time in Bangkok. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, stylish, and welcoming — a perfect escape from the city’s energy. The design is beautiful and thoughtfully curated, with a serene Japanese-inspired aesthetic that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the experience. The food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into each plate. The was some of the best I’ve had — smooth, balanced, and perfectly prepared. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being overbearing. The team made us feel completely at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful breakfast or brunch spot in Bangkok with outstanding food and a refined atmosphere, Ryoku Café is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.
