  A wonderfully unique dining experience. Restaurants like this are the reason why I enjoy going to tasting menus. Eating so many delicious dishes, highlighting local food and culture. We learned so much about the local ingredients here in Thailand in such a beautiful and visually exciting way. The portion sizes are perfect. The staff are incredible and personable. I cannot wait to come back and try this restaurant again. The mocktails were spectacular. I highly recommend prioritizing this dining experience while in Thailand.

  Our experience was truly fantastic. Every dish was delicious and felt like a journey through Thai culture. What made the tasting menu so special is that each course represents a different region of Thailand, allowing you to discover the diversity of flavors and traditions from across the country. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors. Some dishes were mildly spicy, one in particular was quite spicy, while others were not spicy at all, creating a very well-balanced tasting experience. Throughout the menu, we were also pleasantly surprised by a few off-menu dishes served as special treats. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. A special mention goes to the waitress who served us: she made the experience even more enjoyable by explaining every dish in great detail and adding a touch of humor and warmth to the service. Overall, it was a wonderful culinary experience and a memorable way to explore Thai gastronomy!

  A wonderful experience! There is one set menu that takes you through a journey of Thailand true spices flavors and techniques, paired with the best ingredients from abroad. The locally brewed beers are a real surprise. The restaurant has lost the Michelin macaron (it’s not a star arghhh) during the hand over of chefs in 2023. Not so bad for the clients; we get to pay a fair price instead of the inflated mediatic ones. Kudos to the brigade!

  We visited Saawaan to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable dining experience. Every dish showcased traditional Thai ingredients in a creative and refined way, resulting in unique and exceptional flavours. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, explaining every course with genuine passion and great attention to detail. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend Saawaan to anyone looking to discover Thai cuisine from a fresh and innovative perspective while visiting Bangkok.

  This was such an unexpected experience during our Thailand trip. Somehow the universe aligned and we were walking by at the start of a dinner seating and a cancellation had a seat opened up and we were able to enjoy The incredible journey that was Saawaan . I need a preface this review by admitting that there are things that I am not a fan of eating, even though I understand their culinary contributions. I am always open to trying new things but I am not a huge fan of seafood, especially shellfish and I actively dislike oysters. Before we officially sat they showed us the tasting menu and there were several items on there that are not to my normal tastes. However because of the fortuitousness of us being able to sit I decided to just try everything and oh my God am I glad that I did I would not be lying if I said this not was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Not only was all of the food perfectly prepared, presented and flavored but the story and history of Thai culture and Thai cuisine enhanced the experience in ways I was not expecting. Our server was absolutely freaking delightful, and it felt like she not only enjoyed but believed in everything that she was presenting to us. It made for such an intimate and enjoyable experience. Although for Thailand it was on the higher end of the price point. For the experience and the flavors and the service we got an extremely budget price! If you are able you to visit I strongly recommend you do!
