  Met some friends here for dinner they other night and we ordered a feast. All of the food was delicious. They have a beautiful outdoor patio area, but also a lovely air conditioned inside area as well. Our service was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

  Food was good/ok to our taste but the bad rating is because they over charged (or did not explicitly state outright) us for the panaang curry when they asked if we wanted beef, chicken or (?). By default it's with chicken, but by mentioning it without mentioning an added charge we thought it'd be a free swap. Turns out not. What should have been 160 baht turned into 250 baht (an extra 90 baht). The beef was also hard to chew, not tender at all. The salted crab stew was also on the salty side, although yes they had a respectable amount of crab. There is also a sneaky 10% service charge mentioned in the corner of a random page not shown on these menu page pictures. Many other bad mentions as the review here, slow service (the food took forever to come out, versus what other bangkok places can do), whether it be the drinks or all the dishes, and the ambience was very empty whether inside our out at 8pm. I would not recommend, there are plenty of better eateries around in Bangkok. Their saving grace for me was they accepted credit card here, but honestly the food was not worth the price here.

  As a regular customer of the noodle shop during the day, I decided to try the night-time restaurant. The atmosphere at night felt quite different, with fewer customers. I ordered porridge with several side dishes, but the taste wasn’t very impressive, and I found the price quite high for what I got. The clams with chili paste were especially disappointing, as the flavor didn’t stand out. Other dishes were just average.

  My wife and I popped in and tried this restaurant, Service was exceptional for a busy night (About 16 other people to our left and inside.) but food came out and quickly and was very delicious. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I had the Pad Thai. Would recommend.

  Sara-Jane’s absolutely did NOT disappoint. Based on one reviewer’s multitude of visits and dishes sampled, I figured this would be the best bet and thanks to him, I had one of the best meals of my week in Bangkok. I had the papaya salad and the fried sea bass with herbs with rice and a beer and the total was 710baht ~$20. Not super cheap, but worth the enormous portion and exquisite balance of flavors and an excellent, crispy entire sea bass. In hindsight, for one person, I should have not gotten the papaya salad, as the herbs was a salad on its own and a lovely accompaniment to the fish and rice. I was a little hesitant about sitting outside, but it was quite beautiful dining under the banyan trees and there are many fans they will move around to get the perfect breeze. Otherwise, there is an indoor space with a/c which I didn’t realize at first.
