  Overpriced - food is way too salty - Cha-Thai is bland - Coffee is bland as well. Honestly, it's hard to find a bad coffee shop in Bangkok, but this one is. We walk in with a high hope for great coffee and good food, but somehow we walk out disappointed. The food is way wayyy wayyy too salty and overpriced. Get a Parmesan ham sandwich, which is salty by itself already but the sauce and the bread have way too much seasoning on them which makes the dish extremely salty. The drink is too bland, I think it's because of the extremely salty food but no. I ordered the Iced Latte, they serve the coffee is a small glass with a decent amount of milk, but somehow I didn't taste any coffee in my cup. I don't know how, maybe the espresso shot was over-extracted, but they should have known, with the price they charge. Do not recommend this coffee shop.

  Sarnies: A Coworking Space That Also Sells Coffee — ★★★★ Walk into Sarnies and do a quick scan of the room — you’ll count more MacBooks than menus. Thai, as a language, is functionally absent; the soundtrack is Zoom calls, pitch decks, and the distinctly confident voice of a man explaining his Series A to anyone within three tables. If performative productivity had a flagship, this would be it. The pricing makes no concessions to its postcode. This is Western money, full stop — a 6 USD oat milk latte, brunch plates that wouldn’t look out of place on a Melbourne or Brooklyn check, and a bill at the end that gently reminds you geography is a construct. What you’re paying for isn’t just caffeine; it’s the privilege of posturing beside others doing the same, with reliable Wi-Fi and ample outlets thrown in. The tacit social contract: no one will ask you to leave, ever. The food, to its credit, is competent. Thoroughly Western, cleanly executed, occasionally inspired — a solid brunch by any global standard. But “solid Western brunch at Western prices in Bangkok” is a crowded category, and Sarnies doesn’t quite clear the bar its receipt sets. Four stars, though — because this place knows exactly what it is, and if you walk in knowing the same, you’ll probably love it. It’s not my cup of 6-dollar latte, but for the nomad crowd it’s built for, it delivers. Verdict: Decent food, Western bill, louder branding. Not my scene, but fair play to those it is.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  A great and reliable brunch spot. Excellent location next to the bts and on the same side as emq. Food was tasty and yummy. A japanese twist on classic brunch. Menu felt quite limited and portions were very small considering the price. Great atmosphere lots of seating options and staff are attentive. Would like to try out their other locations for sure. But overall good experience, for 2 people it was around 1200 baht

  We loved Sarnie’s. It’s a nice atmosphere suitable for working or just chilling out and enjoying a bite to eat and/or a coffee or tea drink. We did not try the food, but the menu looks very interesting. They offer sandwiches, pizza, eggs and many interesting, Asian fusion dishes. Our 5 star food review applies to the coffee. We thought the long black Tiramisu and iced coconut coffees were excellent; such great flavor and obvious quality. And, lastly the service was quick and friendly. I’ll be back, again and again and . . .

  We’ve visited Sarnie’s countless times during our stays in Bangkok, and it never fails. The menu truly caters to every palate and preference. My staple is the Japanese Teishoku with hot smoked salmon, and their Smoked Salmon Bagel is equally excellent—fresh, balanced, and full of flavour. My husband is vegan, and they offer endless options for him. He always begins with the smoked tomato soup, then chooses from a wide range of fresh, satisfying dishes that never disappoint. As global professionals who often work remotely, we also appreciate Sarnie’s environment and workspace. Whether on the first or second floor, there’s room for everyone to settle in comfortably and enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommended.
