We visited this Burmese restaurant and ordered Nan Gyi Thoke, chicken curry, and dry Shan noodles. Nan Gyi Thoke was my favorite — super flavorful and it really reminded me of a meal I had back in Yangon. The Shan noodles were alright. The chicken curry comes with pickled greens, a strong and pungent spicy dipping sauces which later I learned to be fermented fish sauce and chilli. It can feel a bit overwhelming on its own, so it’s best mixed with the fresh raw vegetables. Myanmar tea is a great drink to go with the meal — very enjoyable. Would definitely come back for the Nan Gyi Thoke again.

Simple, authentic Shan-Burmese Flavors and reasonable price. Loved the chilly oil. Sadly, they didn’t have Shan Style Pickles (Shan Chin). Would recommend it to anyone who is missing Shan food but couldn’t get to Myanmar for any reason. No coffee available but there’s a cafe next door. It’s a small restaurant with limited number of staff. Pls do understand that slow service can happen.

Overall, the food is very nice. We highly recommend that you try the tea leaf salad. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. We recommend this restaurant if you want to eat Burmese food.

My personal opinion - best Shan food in bangkok. Authentic and tasty. Generous portion with fair price. Location- 10 min walk from BTS asoke. Easy to find.

Loved it. We visited the restaurant on two different occasions and we enjoyed all the food! Burmese cuisine surprises me every time in terms of the different tastes and texture the food offers in comparison to Thai food. I really enjoyed the crispy roti served with their meat curry and the samosas salad just hits different in terms of spiciness and tanginess (would recommend this if you enjoy spicy food!) but the Burmese tea was too sweet for my liking. Overall great food and good service as well as reasonable price.
