  Okay, I just hit up Somtum Nua’s new spot in Ekamai, and let me tell you—it did NOT disappoint! 🤩 If you love bold, spicy Isaan flavors, this place is a must. 💛 Vibe check: Super chill but still has that trendy, modern feel. Perfect for hanging out with friends, stuffing your face solo, or even a casual date (if they can handle the spice, lol). 🌶 The food? Insane. I went all in with Mayongchid Pla Ra (yes, fruit + fermented fish sauce, and it works!), mok nor mai moo (bamboo shoot curry with pork—so flavorful), and of course, kaw moo tod (crispy, juicy pork neck—an absolute winner). But my personal fave? Fried corn—sweet, crunchy, and dangerously addictive. 🌽🔥 Also tried the shrimp pancake—golden, crispy, and packed with shrimp goodness. 🍹 Drinks? Yes, please. They’ve got some fun cocktails on the menu, and I tried a few (for research, of course 😆). Refreshing, creative, and a perfect match for all the spicy food. 💰 Worth it? 100%.   Somtamnua just opened its new store with standalone format at Ekkamai Soi 6. If you are a big fan of Somatamnua or looking for Somtam/Isaan food with good vibe, I highly recommended to visit here! My family and I have been big fans of Somtamnua for many years. We always visit their stores in Central Embassy and Central World, so this time, I got a chance to visit this new location with my friends. At this store, its design and decoration are totally different from other stores. Well design with modern Isaan (Northeast) decoration. The lighting mood and tone are perfect for taking pictures of oursleves and our foods as well. There are also some exclusive menus to be served here. You should try it depending on your preferred selection, but most of them were amazing. Many local cocktalis and alcohols are also provided here. Let's enjoy your meal with their drinks! Anyway, highly recommended to visit here. Great experience for this kind of new concept!

  Very poor service. I was left sitting outside for 10 minutes without a fan or menu, with many mosquitoes around. The fan was broken, and no one fixed it even after I asked twice. If you cannot handle the number of customers, hire more staff.
